Easily! *note i'm the only one who clicked on this picture*

Cause he wasn't really a trouble maker, people exaggerated his incidents, same thing with Ron Artest. you respect a guy that can fight for his principles!

Maybe so, but the media has went over Artest problems a little bit too much as well.

I just don't agree with people when they consider Artest a nuthead. I would hate it if a fan threw cup of beer on my head as well after a guy shoved me hard for playing defense.

Artest has made significant strides in his character after traveling to Africa a year ago......

I think we are getting him at JUST the right time.

My point is that I was being sarcastic.

    Maxwell's craziness = Artest's craziness

Yet, nobody had a problem cheering for Max.

Ron Artest's very STRENGTH is that he could start a riot at any time. The Rockets are going to pulsate with intensity when he's on the court. People are just going to get mowed down.

    Artest is crazier than Vernon.

Vernon didn't go off making rap records, plus Vernon hit the guy he wanted to hit in the stands.

Ron Artest wanted to beat up everybody!

Dude, the guys is still nuts. Someone that insane doesn't just get better all of the sudden. Homeboy is crazy. He could snap at any moment.

Hopefully being around veterans like Deke, Battier, and Barry will somehow help him channel his insanity into good on the basketball court. Adelman, who no player has ever disliked, will unhhok the reigns a little and let him do his thing. Then a trust is established. JVG would have been butting heads with him all year.

This dude is the kind of nuts that a trip to Africa or a little community service can't cure, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Sarcasm is hard to detect on forums.

Artest didn't jump at a fan.

I hate morey, why is he such a robber? (Sarcasm, not too easy to detect aye?)

I apologize if I failed to detect your sarcasm (I'm not being sarcastic), sometimes my meter breaks.

    lets play switch a roo.

if it was Ron Artest in Portland and someone was heckling him about his dead daughter (yes that's what happened) would Ron Ron attack that guy?

I think Ron Ron would have ripped that guys head off.

if it was Vernon who got a cup of beer thrown on him, I think he would have found the correct guy who did it and told NBA security to get that dude removed!

For one, we don't know how Max would have reacted in Ron's position. Also, Max walked out on a team that was on its way to winning their second of back to back championships. That in and of itself is pretty damn crazy.

For all intents and purposes of being a basketball player, Max's peronality = Ron's personality. Off the court doesn't mean much to me as long as a guy isn't in jail and unable to play.

My bad then. Maybe I should go for dog starving?

And no, I'm not a 10 year rocket fan like many of you, so please forgive my ignorance.

What was the story behind Artest leaving the Pacers in the middle of the season?

He wanted to work on his record label

That's crazier than being *mad* about losing your starting job and not getting a contract extension ( you know that's the truth too)
