Everyone has to go. Assistants, trainers, mentors whatever else there is. This is a clown show.

11 games into the season and this is where we're at in terms of who is doing the best at certain play types. Ranking is done via Percentile.

it has everything to do with a coach....he have to mentally prepare players, instill them with confidence and overlook their practicing habits and inspire them to practice more and more and more...

The coach decides who plays, it's called a rotation.

Especially the death line ups in the 4th.

Looks like Wood and KPJ are at top of almost every list in offensive efficiency.

But CF eyetest is more reliable amirite???

But no one on team can ball handle for shet, trade for Ben Simmons already.

Wood definitely excels in certain situations like isolation and spot up shooting. Going into the season, I admittedly thought he would be a pretty good PnR guy, offensively, but he's definitely proven that was an incorrect assumption. Maybe the passes aren't coming to him cleanly or easily? Who knows.

As for Porter...outside of that small sample size in spot up shooting, he's not doing so hot. I think we all can agree that he was performing a lot better last year versus this year. I think his isolation metrics had him around 70th pecentile last year vs 25th this year. I'm just one of the many that thinks he needs be moved back to the role he had last year and remove that requirement/need to have "point guard" as a role. That and also stagger his minutes with Green because that pairing is not so hot right now.

    Excuses...
    11/10/21 Houston v Detroit:
Post game interview silas says we need to do a better job of closing the deal.
The game was close at start of the 3rd quarter. #Silas decides to Play Nawaba, Tate, Gordon, House, Theis for an 8 min stretch. Resting Green while having no real offensive options on the floor for an entire 8 min stretch between 3rd - 4th quarter is no way to "close the deal."

In the same game, Silas didn't call opportune Timeouts, rested his stars who produced in the first half causing them to lose their touch, runs line ups without any true ball handlers, challenges plays which dont make a difference in the game.

I was sitting right behind the bench.
Silas isn't a leader. Players aren't buying into the trash he's selling. He doesn't command respect. He won't stay long.

Both were performing better last year vs this season.

    Dramatically better.

When Wall sat due to injury, Porter was the PG and he improved as season wore on. His 50/11 game was at PG.

    Again, what has changed?

At some point, they're grown men and have to want to get better. These aren't 16 year old kids. If you aren't working on making free throws for millions of dollars on the line at 26 then that's a you problem. Somebody else can't fix that.

We are suppose to run the same offense as the Clippers? I do not know what we are doing.

are you saying all these rockets players who are bad at FT shooting now will remain terrible FT shooters when they get traded to other teams, or if benched or reduced minutes?

The Rockets are 7-55 in their last 62 games.

Rotations, Timeouts, and resting players are all coach dependent.

I was sitting right behind the bench in Detroit Vs Houston game. Silas isn't a leader. At one point in the 4th we could clearly see Green's frustration after the play Silas calls during timeout. Silas doesn't command respect. Players aren't buying the trash he's selling.

In the same game, Silas didn't call opportune Timeouts, rested his stars who produced in the first half causing them to lose their touch, runs line ups without any true ball handlers, challenges plays which dont make a difference in the game
