I hope not, Mac Ball hasn't worked for us since 04. It should be team ball. It takes five after all.

Exactly what I have been saying. Good thread man, this forum needs more "fans" that have faith.

You know what? I don't care if Tmac takes over from here on out.

Actually, I'd prefer if he took a backseat to Yao, Ron, Shane, Rafer and Von.

He needs to put himself together, piece by piece, and become the final "piece" of the puzzle by the end of the season.

I want the "takeover McGrady" for the playoffs.

    The window is closing fast...

I know All-Star break is supposed to be about taking a little break from the season and relax, but I think Tmac should concentrate on working out during the break.

I hope he doesn't take a vacation, like most NBA players not participating in the all star events do, and realize that he is out of shape.

He needs to do his "off-season" workout routine during the break.

good post but I think you should have waited until next week to post this lol. With all these rumors and stuff going on who knows how the team is going to look like but a great idea. I am with you though even though I thought that this would have happened earlier than us struggling now.

I agree. He looks like what he did in the playoffs last year. He is really getting his explosiveness back!

I like your optimism, and I really do want T-mac to dish damage like his former great self again, but let's be real here: T-mac is older and less passionate about the game now, and we are going to just have to deal with it.

I hope that Mac would be a dominate player again, but signs point to the fact that that won't happen. He wants to revert to a facilitator and is content with 16 points a game; he should be looking to score 20+ a night.

Everyone played well and hard except Tmac, and he is the key person if rockets want to go further even win a championship.

I'm going to make my bold prediction.....

Von Wafer will be traded.. He is showing teams that he grew up and is ready to play. With the wings that we have and with everyone healthy I don't think he will see any playing time. Someone will call and offer up something that will be hard to turn down if its the right proposal. :( :(

TMac being the first option is not going to work. Forget about the old tmac. 15-6-6 on 50% shooting is what Rox should get from TMac now.
