Yeah, exactly, I know we were close to beating them but where does this enormous confidence come from? We have never beaten them in a playoff series the last years.
alot of people just look at the rockets being up 3-2 without the actual context. Game 4 and game 5 were dogfights which both teams having a chance to win in the end. The rockets happen to come out on the winning side each time but the results could of easily been different which just goes back to that tiny margin for error
I always thought GSW was half a tier weaker than previous years, may it be some chemistry issues, Snake Durant being inconsistent, beef amongst one another but they looked weaker than last year even. Curry working his way back. They did show flashes, and came back.
This exactly. The Rockets gave EVERY LAST OUNCE of fight in that series to squeak out a 3-2 lead. That could easily have been us down 3-1.
i actually think alot of it comes from them being so much better than the rest of the league and we have KD to thank for that. They're so used to not really being challenged that it can be one of the things that hurts them bc it catches them by surprise. They'll coast and coast then all of a sudden, they find themselves in the situation where they actually have to turn it up to win
Based on all our most recent 2nd Round signings: Signing them isn't about more money, it's because Morey prefers 3yr+ deals, if he can get them. The Minimum Exception can only be for 2yrs. It's about the Gilbert Arenas issues should they explode like Parsons. They will sign for minimum salary (even Jokic played for min last year), but Morey would prefer they sign for 3+yrs (like Onuaku and Zhou who took minimum pay) so that we have Full Bird Rights to prevent Poison Pills. In the case of Melton, imo, Morey will forego dipping into any other Exceptions, and we'll just do a 2yr year minimum exception deal, if he has to, and take the Gilbert Arenas risk.
Agreed, except, injuries likely halted a Ring this season. NOT FAIR !!!..... So, Give me championships by any means necessary.
The REAL reason he's choosing LA over Houston: That's where the best hair transplant facilities in America are.
To whoever merged my thread into this one: the only things they had in common were the words "Lebron" and "glad" in the title. The actual content was different.
My curiosity is piqued about the Butler chatter. But that all just seems internet manufactured to me. For what reason would the Wolves even want to move Butler?
