yeah, you are a chunky law student, but no matter what, when you start earning your money back you can afford to work out at the nices gym. Im 5'10 and 160 and let myself go a little bit during my first semester, but I find that I'm going to make time next year to go to the gym, which will help me get healthier physically and mentally. I have my last exam, torts, at 1:30. my exams have been nice so far, all open book and one take home. Of the three open books, i have a strategy I hope will pay off. I studied all the old tests and old model answers from the prof and made a list of fill-in-the-blank model answers designated for certain questions. Its much better than making a labourous outline that won't be used in the test anyway. Its easy on the brain too, because you don't have to form a well thought out answer to, say, a promissory estoppel issue, because you already have it, then apply the specific facts. my property one was a nightmare though, take-home scifi hypothetical question which was basically "who owns the newly discovered planet and who owns the enslaved beings on the planet?" killer. in conclusion, make time for the gym tomorrow, before you literally asplode next year. You'll have a stressful life, don't exacerbate it by also having a body that can't take it.
Since I work all day and then go to law school right afterwards until 9:30 I usually eat dinner through a drive through window. That and not working out has killed me this past semester. Good news is that next semester, I will be used tot he routine and will be able to plan it out a little better and eat beofre class or afterwards at home and then go work out, even if it just 30 minutes of running or on the bike at the gym. Good luck on your torts final. Don't forget about how to compare and contrast Theories of Joint Liability: Concert of Action, Enterprise Liability, Alternative Liability & Market-share Liability and Joint and Several Liability After Comparative Negligence. That was by far our hardest question, no softball intentional torts to be found.
lucky me, I will have a lot of intentional torts on my test (typical bad day at the office hypo) we didn't really cover the other liabilities in my class. The catch is we have a policy question, probably on med mal or tort reform.
I am 5-11 195. But when I was in college I was 155 and thought I could never gain weight ( I used to eat 4 pork chops for dinner). Oh I am Chinese too . Mark
My old running club had 160 as the ideal weight. I'm 5'9 and weigh 175lbs. I would suggest running a few miles a day. I only weighed 145 when I was at the peak of my running, but at the same time I was 16 and running ten miles a day. I dropped twenty pounds in 3 months. I stopped running and I gained 30 in two years.
Damn, I am desperate! 5'10" and 235lbs, weighed 255lbs three months ago. I worked out quite a bit and lost weight fast in the beginning, but right now it seems I am just stuck there. 180lbs is my ultimate goal! I am still have a looong way to go to lose another 55lbs. Damn, you really pissed me off.
