You've been trolling the Press food blog for most of the year, which is pretty much in character with what you always have done here so I warned them the first time you said something ridiculous that it wouldn't be your last. Congrats on being nuts on two websites.

Yeah, this is me too. I don't think I'd like to eat 'chili' unless it had more to it than just meat and a bunch of spices. That's just me.

Although I do make a 'chili' with just meat and spices...but I pour it on thin pasta and call it spaghetti...

I've thought about this a little more and I'll be honest, I'm irritated. I'm not going to go overboard about your asinine comment because I realize you didn't know she was my gf and this is how you normally behave, but you might want to be more careful about the crap you say online. You aren't as anonymous as you think.

Poor ole Fatty - even on the rare occasions he gets something right, content wise, he has to mess it up with his snarkiness. But I will say that it makes for great theater.

 

the alamo is in san antonio, where chili was invented. the people in san antonio who invented chili often used beans. therefore, beans are ok.

on the contrary, i respect the bean due to my love of texas history and appreciation of the great texans/tejanos who came before us. they did not discriminate against the bean and neither shall i.

 

Back to chili here: Should the chili be watery or should it just be a small bit of liquid? The recipe posted earlier yielded a chili without much water. It's almost all meat and onions.

 

What part of Ohio / Michigan? I might just take you up on that next time I pass through that region.
