Oh please...I help people out on a daily basis...I make about half as much as I should be making because I spend a few days a week in underserved areas to give cheap/free dental care to those that need it and can't afford it. I've dedicated my life to helping others, so attacking my morals is quite laughable.

Yeah, you usually don't take every licensing exam out there unless you enjoy throwing money away...there aren't many dentists licensed in 42 states.
Now we're flaunting morals and virtues. HILARIOUS. I swear, I feel like i'm reading the comments on a Lady Gaga youtube video...
I didn't take the west coast exam...which is California, Oregon, Washington, arizona, etc... You get the point.
Didn't read, but I don't like the name Brian. Obviously a troll attempt, I'll bite. I'd kill a family pet of yours. A 3rd cousin's hamster. I'd put him in an unnecessarily large, unsolvable maze.
Props for helping out the less fortunate. But you were essentially indicating in your post that we should not help a potential scam victim because they are 'too stupid for their own good, so we should let them reap the harm of their decision'. This would be like not helping someone who has slipped off a cliff and is hanging on the edge, because you deem them stupid for walking too close to the cliff to begin with (maybe a poor analogy, but the best I could come up with). And just because you are a dentist doesn't make you a saint (if this is what you meant by your last sentence) ... just like being any other sort of doctor doesn't. Plenty of doctors help people physically, but also harm them financially by taking advantage of their situation.
If I'm walking down the street and I see someone in harms way, I will help them without hesitation. What's taking place here is completely different...we have Brian freakin Chapman posting...we have no idea what is the truth and what isn't. And really, it's not our place to pry around, do detective work, and try to get to the bottom of an issue that doesn't involve anyone here. Yes, I do believe that it's not a smart move to buy a baby crib from a stranger online, but that's an issue that they need to deal with. I don't have any evidence or proof that chapman sold a baby crib to someone that eventually caused harm to a child. And I know there are dentists and doctors that take advantage of patients, at least financially....but that's not me. If copying homework with my entire dental class puts me in the same category as someone that actually hurts people, then I don't know what to say. I've never put my interests before the interests of my patients. Never.
Most specifically, this baby crib he claims to be defective might not immediately show it's flaw. Then, some infant finds out the hard way the bolts won't stay in. Whether or not it's dumb to trust a $5 crib from a stranger, I have a problem letting that lie. More broadly, this is a criminal operating in our town and victimizing our neighbors. Just as a good citizen, when you see injustice, shouldn't you do something? If you see someone stealing your neighbor's car, will you just say to yourself, 'anyone dumb enough to park at the curb on this street deserves to have his car stolen'? I think the reaction on page 1 was great -- prove out that the OP was not just idle chatter but could be tied to realy CL posts, then tell the cops. After that, we should probably let the cops do the work of identifying the guy -- of course, we don't know if they'll try or whether procedure will keep them from making an arrest (as I had experienced with my bb gun shooter the cops wouldn't arrest).
Look rezdawg, let's just forget about all this conjecture and cut to the chase here. The question is this: Spoiler Canned artichoke hearts - are they good or bad for your teeth?
