Can you, or anyone else, show some prior examples of his cleverness? Any shred of ability to plan and execute a multi-month, cross town, multi-site hoax? Given that all ads were pulled just after he was banned and given that he has thrown out some (ok, almost all) ridiculous predictions, posts, etc., isn't is more likely he's an idiot than some brilliant masterminding savant?

I think it'd be difficult to feign that level of stupidity consistently for that long.

    For the purpose of...?

And once that purpose is "fulfilled" ask yourself is that the quality of a smart person or your run of the mill idiot who has no concept of action and consequence? In essence do you think he was a kid who won science fairs, or was he a kid who ate his own boogers?

    For the purpose of trolling.

    Nothing more, nothing less.

I am not a troll, so I cannot get into his psyche.

Ah, so all stupidity is because of trolling, and never a result of just being a douche. Ok. I disagree. Sometimes a schmuck is a schmuck, even if their purpose is to be a deliberate schmuck in some attempt to pwn someone. That person is still a smegmastic schmuck in my book.

RECAP for people too lazy to read this whole thread

First his craiglist listing were found...he did not provide them.

Name on the listings was Chris from the Katy area

Another listing for some green buddha on some other site...nothing he mentioned here had the name Tamara on the same phone...

So two people Chris and Tamara with the same phone # made everyone think it was a fake number......... but then Tamaras myspace was found with pictures of her and her husbandChris. . They are from Katy, Texas.

R2k confirmed that his ip is from Katy.

Brian said he would meet poeple at Fiesta parking lots...Fiesta is right from his home address..

Craiglist listings said he is off of Mason road.......His home address is off of Mason rd.

    so..is he a troll...or is he just a dumb-ass?

oh and why was he banned so quick?....its not like he got out of line with anybody...maybe he was banned for his own good. make it seem like he was in fact trolling so this wouldn't escalate into something bigger.

    anyways whatever..thread is entertaining

    *popcorn*

The only question I have....why is it so important to bust him? Seriously, if someone is that stupid to buy a baby crib from a stranger for 5 dollars, then they don't deserve to have a working product.

Surely we have better things to do with our time...like minding our own business. If someone is getting burned on craigslist, then they should learn to get a clue...that's their problem, not ours.

Why would the two be separate things? Trolling hard like this fellow makes him a douche. You guys seriously believe some guy would post about buying a stolen car, asking someone to come take it for free? If so, you all are more naive than I thought...

How about just looking out in general for the common good of other people? What he is/was doing is blatant false advertising, regardless of how dumb it would be to buy a baby crib for $5. What if he set the price for the crib at $50 and people assumed it was a good quality crib? All of a sudden people (potentially less fortunate people who are looking for a bargain) might think they are getting a deal on a nice crib, only to eventually find out they were completely duped by some *******.

I don't buy anything of vital importance on Craigslist, nor do I recommend it, but that doesn't mean we should just "mind our own business" if someone is ripping people off and is dumb enough to brag about it.

Not to get too personal, but this isn't the first time you've shown a serious lack of morals and values through this board.

This alone doesn't mean anything and shouldn't be considered "proof". The address was found by looking up the phone number in same CL ad that says they're off Mason Rd. So all your doing is connecting a CL ad to itself. If we have indeed been "played", then this would still hold true.

Yeah, I've just done what every other dentist had done...was never a big deal and definitely not as big of an issue that bored CF members made it out to be. In the end, I'm licensed in 42 states and I've won an award, "Americas Top Dentists"...so I don't really care that I did a homework assignment along with 100 of my classmates.
