    I have no idea.

But the thought that they're the only ones who will take these jobs is just silly.

Don't provide incentive to hire illegals and there will be more Americans with jobs, and better jobs at that. Seems pretty simple to me.

Here: I even cached "economics 101" for ya.

This has nothing to do with cute "politics." It is the "law" of supply and demand.

Did you ever take an economics class? I can't believe you did. Nice with the personal insults, loser. Until you fess up to who you were or who your "alter ego" is, you're nothing.

how bout the fact anglo americans jumped the fence first? wasnt this tejas first? didnt this country belong to native americans first? And what how about the fact that the US bullied Mexico for the entire southwest? I mean come on man, you cant attack anybody based on their actions, when America came into fruition due to its a tyrannical tactics ie slavery, manifest destiny, and the basic genocide of native americans.

i think its very ironic that you have a problem with "fence jumpers" since europeans, and i'm sure you're some kind of european mutt, committed the first act of invading.

and i actually dont have a problem with the costume, im all for humour, but its people like fattyfatbastard who want to ridicule people for something that all Americans, (with the exception of Native Americans who resided here and African Americans who were forced over here), are in way associated with; immigrating from one country for better opportunities.

Lol. I think things have changed quite a bit from 500 years ago. Had Native Americans been able to keep us out, they'd have done so. Or have you forgotten the Spaniards and the Mayans? Are you a Mayan?

Mexicans are still allowed legal entry into the U.S. Were you not aware of this?

Let's just say I recall what happened to the Mayans and the Native Americans who weren't real watchful of the borders. We are by FAR one of the easiest Countries in the world to enter legally.

If you don't respect that, I don't respect you.

And BTW, my ex was an Australian that did everything the Legal way. She is now a U.S. citizen after 14 years.

if wouldve read both of my posts, i stated that europeans, and yes including spaniards did this to the aztecs, mayans, toltecs, olmecs, incas, and a variety of different native americans. and the US bullying mexico for Texas and the entire southwest wasnt 500 year ago. Im not questioning that entering our country is hard or easy, ive never done it. But for you to have a problem with "fence jumping", is a bit hyprocritical, since your forefathers commited even worse actions.

And yes, there is a legal way to enter, but do you forget that it requires resources that most people entering the country in an illegal manner lack? If these immigrants had the funding to enter, i think they'd stay in their home country, just seems logical. But hey isnt that what America is all about? From european immigrants, to anglo americans in eastern cities, that couldnt afford a comfortable lifestlye, moving westward either to another country, or states owned and regulated by mexico at the time, and then seizing the environment they settle in. And now you want to get upset that people are just entering illegally the very same way anglo pioneers did?

Clearly if our ancestors did something 100+ years ago, we cannot criticize other people doing it now.

I don't really have a strong opinion one way or the other on illegal immigrants.

But I do think its an ugly double-standard for anyone to be ok with invading and taking over land when the rightful residents are unable to "keep us out", while at the same time being pissed off about illegal immigrants. At least admit both were/are wrong.
