    Brandon Rush's potential >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> CDR

There's a reason he's projected higher than him in every mock draft :)

JR Giddens in the second round would be a steal IMO. He is the most athletic shooting guard (an athletic freek) in the draft and can do almost anything really well.

I think I would take Rush over CDR but will be very happy if the Rockets get either of them.

He hasn't had good workouts though. He was the guy a lot of people expected to tear up workouts and that didn't happen

I think workouts are overrated. It matters how well you played during the season. I feel like CDR outplayed Rush over the season, is younger, and doesn't have an injury history.

I can't remember the source but I did read an article on the internet said that JR Giddens was a trouble kid. I don't want a Griffin type player anymore.

maybe the teams like the rockets have soured over cdr because he chocked. morey at the beginning of this season said they were looking to improve for the finals since they already knew how to win in the regular season.

Giddens had trouble as a freshman at Kansas and earlier in his high school years. He seems to have grown out of it. He has the skillset and athleticism to play in the NBA. I just don't know if he's got in the brains department. And he could relapse to his earlier days of trouble. But as a late second round pick, if he's got the intestinal fortitude to keep playing his butt off to make it, it would be a good risk to take him.

    Rush or CDR

I have a feeling that either Brandon Rush or Chris Douglas-Roberts will be the newest Rocket tomorrow evening.

Either one would add a dimension this team could really use. I think Rush is the better shooter, while CDR has the better floor game. But either one could add some nice scoring punch & athleticism off the bench and help us immediately!

If we need to move up, I think #25 and throwing in Head, Hayes, Brooks, or some combo should get us where we need to be to grab one of those guys!

    Go Rox!

There has been a lot of discussion on these two in this thread.
