Everyone says he is a better fit for the Rox because he is a pass first PG.

But the problem is he always tries to take over at the end of the game. :D

Well, at least Rafer is better than T-mac.

Look at T-mac, WTF is he doing out there?!

I saw one scene when he was standing there, hopelessly. Why he can't fights like a man! Gosh!

They both played like dog doo doo tonight. Sorry but im not partial towards tmac.

He looks bad to me and some of it i think is the rockets need a better offensive scheme, but tmac's continual jumpshooting from 3pt land is annoying.

That said, I would have rather had Tmac on the block than have Rafer heave up more bricks

Alston did come back at the end, but his D sucked. All our PGs D sucked, Utah kept runnin der pick and rolls just like the old days. Van gundy should have tried Vspan, but he seemed stubborned to do that.

wooow shut up plzzzz...you judge him on one first half of a 82 game season...thats amazing..lets trade tmac to he went 8-23 or yao and battier there no good to us if there in foul trouble..be serious i cant see how you call yourself a fan..a fan has faith in their team and doesnt jump on the bandwagon when they start doing good..or jump off when they do bad..

Eh, Alston is ok. It's one game. My only complaint is he made bad decisions at critical moments. For a pg that's really not good.

Me? Show me where you've seen me on Rafers bandwagon. He isnt even good enough to have one. He's been shooting like crap since last season. This isnt a one game thing.

Tmac only shot one 3 pointer until towards the mid of the 4th quarter. He started shooting more 3 pointers when rockets started falling behind again after trailing by 5.

honestly last year besides yao who stood out..nobody..last year is over and done with so stop bringing that up..everybody was asked to do alot more than what they are capable of..and alston wasnt even the problem for the rockets tonight at all..you can hold a grudge all you want..the nba is not full of all star point guards..you cant have the best player at every position..

it's not just one game, it was all last season plus this!
    that's 83 freak'in games!

i hate ppl using the one game excuse!!!

so, next time h plays bad again, the excuse will be: it's just 2 games!?

    every game counts!

Who said anything about a star? If he's no star he should get more than 4 assist being a pass first pg

I didnt say he was the problem, but he was apart of it.

Fisher ate him alive and there is no excuse for making that old fart look like prime mike bibby

yeah so last year through 63 games he averaged 6.7 assists? Or are we just going by game by game stats?

if alston goes 3/8 from downtown, he'd be an allstar.

Let's look at it this way,

if Rafer stays at this level, then IF Sura can come back and is able to play at least to his 80 percent level which was the 04-05 regular season Sura, then we now have one of the best backup PG's in the NBA, no not Sura, but Rafer.

Let's just all pray for Sura for the best, because the old Sura starting with Rafer backing him up would actually be quite solid at PG.
