oh and iphones don't capitalize rockets. So your argument of judging my true fan dedication is invalid.
bahawahahaha so you admit you can`t even properly use your iphone? where did you get your cheap ripoff copy iphone?
meaning im not going to take the time out of typing just because some idiot on the internet thinks capitalizing the name of a sports team makes you more of a fan than the next. but typical response to someone who doesn't have an answer. You reply to this but not the main quote this is all about.
I love how you summed up everyone's opinion. But... reading this post made me feel very bi-polar hahaa LOVELINHATELINLOVELINHATELIN. Just love the Houston Rockets.
Your logic is totally warped, my friend. Everyone is free to have his own opinion, but if you try to forced your opinion on others or try persistently to offer "good will for team" makes you a fanatic who can only see his own truth, only white and black. You know how you sound ? Like a preacher who preach for "dumb" wilds in Africa so they could be enlightend by your truth. You automatically label people instantly as LOF/LOH, this what i meant with your limited vision. to paraphrase you
If you were true to your meaning why bother with punctual or writing other names in capitalizing, Like Logic, NBA LOH/LOF? in your post? did you feel a need for especially capitalizing LOF/LOH??? Where is your logic man
@iJHolmes you sound like some who only has good intentions in his mind, but you know the saying goes so: The path to hell is paved with good intentions
Can you find me some examples to when ive ever tried to "Force my opinion" on others? 90% of my arguments that start with LOFs are simply me stating my opinion and being attacked because the LOF doesn't agree. But like i said i'd like to see where i have tried to force my opinion on someone about Lin. I could care less if you think what i think, too bad so many others don't have that same thought.
Okay now I'm pissed off. I'm ******* 20 and went to Sydney Grammar, I'm AT Sydney Uni, anybody who's familiar knows there is a high population of asian people, ALOT of my friends girls/guys are of Asian origin. Maybe thats why I'm comfortable talking like this given they rib me for my bogan cronulla ass accent. I treat all races equally, and I'm definately not a ****ing racist. But i apologise for my error, I should've known that not everybody has grown up in the same environment I have with regards to whats acceptable or not, seems to be a heightened level of racial sensitivity on the internet and thats my error
Good, apology accepted. I am from Sydney myself and live in a multicultural suburb. Its one thing to joke about the way asians/blacks/latinos talk amongst your friends and its another thing to say it on an internet forum. You might not mean anything from it but that doesn't mean its OK. It reinforces these negative stereotypes and on a forum like this where there doesn't seem to be much moderation some people could take it as an invitation to continue posting in a similar manner. Nearly every Jeremy Lin thread has someone posting crap like "Me no rikey Jeremy Rin", disregarding the fact that Jeremy is an American of Asian descent with fans from a broad spectrum of society, so they can belittle his race and fans.
Normally Asians get crap from White people whatever, White people from Asians, whatever, but I'm Eurasian and resultantly get crap from everybody LOL. It's all in jest though, it's never something I've had a real issue with, and if there ever were situations were stuff got out of hand I'd take care of it accordingly. But I get the issues posting on a board like this where there is a history of it, not long after the OP i felt i may have screwed up a bit, failed to realise whats acceptable in my life/etc may not be on a internet forum, as you said, and thats my fault
However you want to spin it, the fact is Lin did not fill expectations last season. That's it. I think you can argue his numbers were ok...decent even for a young pg. But that's not what the Rockets were looking for, and it's certainly not what we were expecting either. As for Lin next season? Well, if, IF Lin is here next season, the Rockets will make the best of it I'm sure. In that case, I will root for him and hope he rebounds and gets better. And if he is not, then it is all moot and all of this LOH/LOF will be moot. And I will not think very much about Jeremy Lin.
What were your expectations for Lin last year? Stat wise? 15/10? 20/8? How do you suppose he would have achieved that when he was benched for whole quarters (even when playing well) and was no the primary ballhandler? What are your expectations this year? Stat wise? What does he need to achieve to stop the hate, reasonably, when he will be the 5th option on the floor?
