Media. Linsanity. that's why. They created his character to be this amazing savior that is an "allstar" calibur when he really isn't. He's a good player, he can play in the NBA definitely. The Rockets offered him this ridiculous contract so Knicks wouldn't match. I bet all of yall would sign that in a heartbeat. I'm sure they knew he wasn't gonna produce like how he did during that stretch, the main reason is for marketing, honestly. Most of the haters hate him because of what the media portrayed him as anyway. I say just look at him next season (if they don't trade him before it starts) he will play better with Dwight in the P&R game, same like he did with Amare and Tyson. If he's still inconsistent and can't produce like he did, then....let the hate continue.
