Which mean they want the highest chance to get the 1st pick for next year

Green is a long term 2 years away from 2 years away project. There's just too much fundementals he needs to add.

Porter probably has this one season to prove himself, if he fails he probably won't have a long future with the team

That’s kind of dumb? Like I get kpj doing better would help the team but there’s a lot of holes in green’s game and with Barnes, Mobley, and more looking better than him, it’s not the best look

What a puff piece. If James Harden could develop something new every offseason into his 30s every player should be developing every year.

No reason to pit teammates against each other like this. It’s ok to say Jalen Green hasn’t played well.

As they should. KPJ as a two way combo guard has a higher ceiling than Green does, plus Green is at least a year away from being a year away from being NBA ready. He has to develop his body and every part of his game

KPJ is much further along and closer to results.

It is saying nothing new here.

KPJ's contract isn't running too long. It's either he develops in 1 or 2 years or he will be traded.

They put a 'It's not urgent' stamp on Green. That is all.

More development effort should be put in the player who is less replaceable.

At their current level, both players can be replaced because neither has shown anything too special this season. You can find many players who have similar or better production on the court as these two.

However, you can not find many players who have similar or better future POTENTIAL as Green.

And while KPJ has potential too, Green has a much higher ceiling.

Plus he cost us a lot more to acquire. Invest more in your biggest future asset.

We're doing it all over again it seems, no wonder they brought back those jerseys.

Cat-Francis...which then led to unicorn Yao.

    Green-KPJ...leads to unicorn Chet?

Everyday news comes out that proves us right and all of the naysayers look like idiots.
    - Silas saying he's experimenting with rotations while never changing his starting lineup unless theres an injury
    - People saying they are not trying to feature Green or get him open shots or develop the young guys except clearly KPJ
    - KPJ admitting he's not a traditional pg and had to go back to just trying to score in order to have a good game

But yeah we're wrong about SIlas being a bad coach, them not trying to develop Green or Sengun now and KPJ not being a point guard. We are all just haters LMAO

Exactly. Harden and Parsons both developed their games.

Makes sense I guess. They'll be making a big decision on KPJ soon on whether or not to extend. They probably already have decided that they're going to extend Green when his deal is up

It’s the right approach imo. You need to see what you have in Porter relatively soon to know where you’re going with him.

you don’t have that pressure for Green.

That’s all fine with me but what i don’t understand is why we’re valuing House‘s „development“ over that of a guy like KJ Martin. That’s where Silas and his love for shitty vets is losing me.

You're conflating too many issues here to satisfy your confirmation bias.

I agree with what you said partly. I would rather play KPJ at SF and trade Gordon and Wood for a young pass first point guard type that can maybe grow with these guys then start Sengun with KJ and having Tate be the off the bench energy and defensive guy. And just like I just dont understand why he plays certain vets over young guys so much it makes no sense.
