Thanks Biggie, sounds like I just misunderstood the radio.

Anyone know of restuarants or bars in town that are open? I need to get out of this house and share the misery with others!

I am still in Laredo but my neighbor sent me a video to my phone of my house. The carport was ripped off and thrown into the backyard, and a pole fell on the hood of my car!!!! :( :( I was really upset about that!!!!!!!! But everything else is ok for the most part. But......my car :( We will be heading out tomorrow morning. The traffic back is probably going to be a pain in the ass.

Call Texadelphia on westheimer or memorial. They sent an email out saying if they have power they will be open.

    HURRICANE PARTY @ TEXADELPHIA!

We've loaded up on supplies and weather permitting, we will be open during our normal business hours this weekend.

As long as our lights are on and our refrigerators have power, we'll be here grillin' cheesesteaks and slingin' cold beer.

    Hope to see you soon!

    Your friends at Texadelphia,

6025 Westheimer Road 5535 Memorial Drive
Houston, TX 77057 Houston, TX 77007

YES, ELECTRICITY! It went out for me at 2:47am, woke up at 9am, then 12pm. Went to Rice and there is power and internet here. Man Houston is a mess. So is my backyard...

About 30 minutes ago, the power came back on in my part of Alief.

The water situation has gotten worse and wish that I had the dribble from a few hours ago.

As of about 2pm - In Cypress (Huffmeister/Telge) - The parents had some pretty bad fence and tree damage, no water, no power, but the house and all living creatures are intact.

Dude, the parking lot of Wild Wing Cafe was packed when we drove by about 30 minutes ago. There's also JJ's Seafood and Wings on Mason right outside my neighborhood. Any way you slice it, I WILL be having wings tonight. :D

Got power back in the Stafford area not too long ago ...the wife and I might go to her cousins for some hurricanes later...we need a drink...

Especially since our 16 month old got a fever and started screaming last night just when it started rolling in.

Anyone live in Sugar Land; First Colony area? We don't have any power right now, (bored out of my mind), just wondering if anyone else in First Colony has power/knows when power is probably coming back.

Yeah, I grabbed shannon and we drove down Westheimer until we got to the beltway and then into Katy off I-10, not too many problems... but there is a hell of a lot of debris just floating around.

Got here and helped Shannon's parents who are quasi-elderly pick up their yard and such.

So nice to feel air conditioning again.

Took a drive also this morning, bunch of trees were uprooted, branches and leaves everywhere, saw a couple power lines from stop lights dangling on the ground, stop lights themselves were dangling, and lotsa standing water that went to the knees or waist which made driving precarious.

    Hope everyone made it.
