I just hope all the people that thought this was a joke in the beginning have done what they need to do to stay safe. Even some douchebags don't deserve to big b**** slapped by Hurricane Ike Turner.

This is ridiculous. Cities and towns in my area are running out of gas. Prices started as low as $3.49/gallon this morning now they are up to no lower than $4.29/gallon.

Nah, just all along, they were targeting the texas galveston/freeport/matagorda coast area. I'm impressed with the forecasters.

I'm staying in The Heights. Most people around here are staying. As told by our local officials we are NOT supposed to evacuate. Your brother isn't an idiot, he's smart as long as he is prepared.

Rosenberg. My dads more concerned about looters than actually tying down everything outside.Whereas ppl buy food and water the idiot bought ammunition. Then he groups all the cars together so that if something blocks my car all the cars are stuck.

I can't stand the way that guy on ABC enunciates his 'T's and 'S's.

You can actually stand in 115-120 MPH winds as long as you don't get hit by debris.

They regularly have newcasters standing in 75-100 MPH winds on TV.
