    Where are you in 77008?

    45 minutes out still means lots of strengthening over what we are getting here now meaning we are probably screwed for power.

    13th st and shepherd. Yeah I REALLY hope the power holds up but I'm expecting to lose it.

    I grew up on 15th and Herkimer. High-diggily-Ho neighbor.

    I didn't realize how far out the eye wall was, so yeah I'd say we are losing it for sure unless this storm turns away from us as it treks.

    Approx. 20 ft. surge according to Weather Channel's in-studio guy... But no one really knows.

    Power has gone off twice for a minute and then comes back in Alief.

    Sounds like about 60 - 65% of the households (Centerpoint) have lost power.

    I'm close to Grand Parkway and Fry. We've had some pretty strong winds, but aside from a few flickers, I've had power all night long as well as cable/internet.
