If you have about 50' of speaker wire, take the positive and negative sides of one end, twist them together, do the same for the other end... stick one end into the cable input (make sure it's thin enough, pull out a stand if you have to) Out the opposite end as coiled as possible in or near a window sill... Should pick up all local over the air non-HD channels. Less wire will work, but the more wire in a a bundle at one end the better. I'm in Quail Valley in Missouri City right near Sugar Land and I'm posting from my iPhone. We lost power about an hour ago and the wind and rain is pretty crazy. A huge tree branch snapped off the big tree on out backyard so you get he idea of how strong the winds are. Hopefully we will get power back Soon because it's hot as h'll.

Yeah they were showing it burning down... rain and firefighters no use. Fire was a weird color too, like whitish purple or something.

Cable is gone but power and internet are still holding thankfully. Any idea when 77008 should be getting the worst of the night? I'm hopeful about the power.
Fence just blew off. Thank God put up boards on my windows cause they are rattling like crazy. Thank God I still have power as well! Crap this is scary
Also still have power in the 77008. Last I heard just a few mins ago is that they expect the eye to be near downtown at 3:15 am. So you can expect the worst of the storm to hit our area in about the next 45 minutes.
