    so what are they saying about the west side of this storm? looks like the forecasts i've seen have the eye going over the pasadena area.... wondering what kind of **** uptown is gonna get?

    and now the power just went :(

    Wobbles absolutely matter at this point...Wobble a bit west and the winds blow directly up Galveston Bay giving an even bigger storm surge, wobble a bit east or stay north, and Galveston Bay stays in the 15 foot range instead of 20+...which is a huge difference to towns like:

    Kemah, Seabrook, Clear Lake, LaPorte, Baytow, Bay City, Texas City...etc..etc..etc...

    Dude in channel 11 said we're 48 mph gusts. LOL! Come to Pasadena and tell me with all the trees down that that's from 48 mph gusts. We have sustained winds higher than that.

    Power out for some major buildings in Uptown.

    Stafford @ West Airport and Dairy Ashford, power still going. Although cable/internet out, leeching offer neighbor's router now (I wonder what they got?) Wind howling, rain is sporadic, definitely not pouring. Stay safe friends.
