    Check out this historical map. Only one storm that has passed within 300 miles of Ike has affected the US coast in the month of September since 1851. None have made it into the Gulf. If that currect track holds up we might be seeing a first.

    You don't die "from the hurricane"... you die from the headaches Neil Frank gives you... or the heat in the evacuation traffic... or the screams from people running out of gas on I-10. :D

    (Flossie?? really?? isn't that a character from Dora the Explorer?? or perhaps from a circa-1982 public service announcement about proper oral hygiene?)

    its like, we dont have to worry about hurricanes anymore because we know they are not going to hit here :cool:

    Nope. And it is mainly due to me yelling "noonan" at the hurricanes. It tends to mess up their concentration.
