[IKE] CenterPoint releases power restoration timeline by zip code

Yeah, I know. So are my aunts. My neighborhood is the one behind 99 cent store. That strip and the daycare and the neighborhood is all dark.

 

Neighbors across my street have lights. I do not. Neighbors across from street where I am currently staying don't have power. We do. Its rough.

 

the front of my neighbohood doesnt have lights, but as you drive towards the back, it has lights.

last sunday, the folks across the street had lights, and we didnt. it sucked ass.

 

From what I understand they turned on the power for our neighborhood. A fire started from a downed line in the neighbors backyard, centerpoint was called. Yada yada yada they cut the lines that feed my side.

 

Front of Kingwood (Entergy customers) have lights. Back of Kingwood (CenterPoint) is still wallowing in complete darkness.

My in-laws still don't have power, so they are staying with us this weekend. I never thought I would say this, but I'm ready to go back to work tomorrow. And work overtime.....

Entergy is at about 82% restored. CenterPoint 60-something. Entergy was at 0% less than a week ago. Entergy kicks ass.
