I can already guess what's going to happen. A Republican president will win the next election...and start going after the dispensaries again...wasting a huge amount of money in the process doing raid after raid. All the money the government doesn't have will go back into pushing another failed drug war policy. The risk is non-existent right now under Obama. California is proving something right now. When you need money, tax the medical mar1juana. It is where the money is and the more people getting medical prescriptions...the more money they make. The people who want to smoke...are going to smoke. The people who don't...won't. And, if people who want to smoke can't get it legally like this...they are going to smoke anyway illegally and the state government won't get any money. I personally don't give a crap either way what happens. People are going to smoke who want to smoke regardless. They always have...always will. My take is the government might as well get in on the action and make as much money taxing it as they can.
There are Cali doctors who will prescribe MJ for "stress". Hard to be illegal in Cali, if one is not lazy (or completely stoned out of your mind all of the time ) Self medication, bring it on.
