He's a role player. He's not leading a team very far. We saw that in Philly. He's a nice 4th option.

That's clearly out of context. He's saying he got more shots than normal up. Typically, he's the best player in the second unit, thus he gets a lot of shots in practice.

He's a role-player to people who think defense doesn't matter and PPG is all that defines a player. Those people think Kobe Bryant is in the argument for greatest player ever and Allen Iverson isn't far behind.

Iggy made a HUGE mistake with that dis.

Now we are going to have a PLAYERS ONLY meeting, break out the old school mustard and red throwbacks, and boy LOOK OUT Golden State - WE HAVE TURNED THE CORNER!!!!

PBev will block every free throw into the cheap seats. I kinda feel sorry for the Warriors now. :(

I don't like Kobe but he was a excellent defensive player in his day.

Iggy with the cold hard truth. If that doesn't sober up some of the drunk homers, nothing will. Keep sippin' that Daryl Maury kool-aid and jacking up 3s!

That wasn't a specific diss on Kobe's defense (the defense was about Iguodala...Kobe an example of people only paying attention to PPG), but I disagree that Kobe was ever an "excellent" defensive player. Like a lot of great offensive players, his defense was greatly overrated. He built his early defensive rep on playing his man tight, not worrying about being beaten off the dribble because he had Shaq behind him (Shaq was not a historically great defender, but he was definitely a road block to slashers).

Agreed, Kobe's defense is hugely overrated. He wasn't much better than Harden, to be quite honest. It was just less obvious because Harden doesn't even pretend like he's trying.

Yeah it's a shame harden defensively is just below Kobe's level. He should be considered on all defensive teams at least. What a travesty.

I have said it time and time again when your supposed superstar harden doesn't have any heart you will never be a championship team easy as that! They need to get rid of harden while he can get something in return and let Dwight walk and start over
