I'm more shocked that someone wanted to text whoever Iggy Azalea is than I am that a pizza boy gave away the number of what I assume is some kind of celebrity.

If Pizza boys made at least $15 an hour this wouldn't have happened.

What don't I get? That the business had nothing to do with how this info was leaked? The nature of the business means the customer's info is going to be available to those who work there, simply because they are taking the order FROM A PHONE.

Your excuse is, that's the way the world works, my point was that it SHOULDN'T work that way, that is is RIDICULOUS that a business should be held responsible for something like this. There is literally NOTHING the business could have done to protect her information. Please tell me how they could? They need the number to get ahold of the person ordering the food. How can they hide that? How can the POSSIBLY ensure some dumb teen isn't going to copy that number down and text her. You can't regulate everything and sometimes people do stupid things.

That's not always true, though. As long as an organization takes the proper steps to secure information, than they are not liable. Again, there is NOTHING any pizza or delivery service can do to stop a driver from remembering a number. These things never happen because 1) most people have common sense, and 2) most celebs prolly don't use their cell phones to order pizza.

Really? Am I the only one who finds this to be friggin absurd? They should have known better than to have hired someone who hates rules. Because I am sure that was one of the interview questions, what are your thoughts on rules? You hate them you say? HIRED! That is absolute lunacy. They didn't give her number out, an employee remembered it.

I definitely get it, this country is full of dimwits who always need to find someone rich to blame (not talking about you).

Do you even know how business works? If you drop off your clothes at a drycleaner, and some pissed off employee shreds them all on his own volition, does the drycleaner have no responsibility? After all, there's no way they could have stopped him until after the fact.

That's true. And when they do it as a representative of a company, the company is liable. By your standard, companies are never liable for anything as long as everything bad is done by individual employees.
