Jalen Green was solid off ball in the g-league.

Someone even posted one of those funny spiderweb graph things that showed it, but you can also see it watching him.

This KPJ/Green potential backcourt gives me vibes of a bunch of kids who want to play together and make their arena entrances a fashion show (swag champs right ) smh

All that just to post their outfit on IG with dumb captions then go 5/20 in the game smh.

Mobley seems all business no gimmicks all work no play.

Wall was also excellent off ball, but Silas (and his system) encouraged him to play iso (or did not penalize him for it anyway).

And Wall is an inefficient iso scorer.

If Green is given "green light" to iso at will, then his other skills will devolve.

Mobley seems like he'd rather be chilling at home with a rubix cube and a chessboard.

Houston has some things that suck but overall is a generally good place to live.

Pro athletes seem to really love Htown more than a lot of other cities.

Wall is excellent off the ball?

Even at his peak if someone said "name good off ball players" I would have never said John Wall... but maybe i was wrong.

    Talking about efficiencies.

Wall is 36% 3ball catch and shoot before coming to Rockets.

Last season was no different as he averaged 1.06 points shooting 3 on the catch and shoot.

And only averaged 0.86 points shooting 3 off the dribble.

Wall averaged much worse shooting the midrange, whether it was catch and shoot, off the dribble or PnR.

He is a horrible midrange shooter.

Well i just think he's just not a great shooter, so that he is better when open makes sense.

When I think off-ball, im more considering off-ball movement, cuts and actions.

I hear you though on lack of that in their offense.

    LOL

Silas: "Where is Mobley? We have practice in 5 minutes..."

KPJ: "Probably stayed up all night reading Harry Potter... again. That's the 2nd time this week..."

Yeah Mobley is all about that money. No love for basketball, but I guess you'd rather have that...

Defund the police is NOT predicated on "less cops" but rather having cops do less (e.g. deal with homelessness, mental health calls, minor drug offenses, etc) which ironically is the exact same thing LEOs have been calling for for decades.

Nothing, unless he'd rather be doing it than playing basketball.

Depends on what you want out of life. Also even if it's not paradise, much better than Cleveland.
