I take the Bulls package. T-Mac is gonna be in a similar situation like Orlando, so he wouldn't wanna go there and LA won't want a disgruntled superstar. In fact, T-Mac might force a buyout and come back to Houston ASAP, or maybe the Spurs, just to sh** on traitorous Rocket fans who wanted him gone.
Any Kobe trade will for certain include a high draft pick this year or next. The Lakers only win right now because of him, and I doubt they can trade for enough good players (or any team will give up enough of them) for them to be able to compete (make playoffs and have a chance to win a series). So, any Kobe trade will be a rebuilding project, involved some highly repected young, talented players & high draft picks. Frankly, I don't see too many teams making such a trade, especially from the East which is where he would go. One team I think would be interesting to see them try to do something for him would be Charlotte. Their draft pick this year is high, they resign and send him to LA, and give up Okafor or something. Send in next years #1 for Lakers #2 in 07 or 08 or just the #2 for a year. They have PF's. They have 2 #1's this year. So basically Wallace (Sign & Trade) Okafor 2007 #8 2008 2nd round for Kobe 2007 #40 2008 2nd round pick
No way in hell Kobe's going to Charlotte... LOL Kobe's going to one of three places: New York, Chicago, or Phoenix. With Phoenix unlikely because they are in same division as Lakers, and New York doesn't have the pieces Lakers would want. But still, it would be New York or Chicago.
I didn't say he will. I just said I would like to see Charlotte at least see if Lakers are interested because they have the pieces to interest the Lakers.
The Chicago package is better because of the age horizons, not because of the quality of the players. TMac has the same win-now window that Kobe does, and would have to wait just as long for Bynum as Kobe does. It makes a lot more sense to trade for guys closer to Bynum's age, if you're getting rid of Kobe.
the chicago deal hands down. BUT. t-mac is a lot better player then anyone in that package and pretty underrated by his own fans
I would say t-mac because he is a great passer still puts up 25 and is a team player...gordon is a streaky shooter deng is great the #9 pick could help it might be about even because gordon could heat up at any time.its about equal depends on team needs.
