You've been the league for 11 years, you are 0-7 in first round series, you've been ranked #75 on SLAM magazine's Top 75 NBA Players of All Time, you've been compared to the great George gervin ,you won 2 scoring title, you're a 7-time all-star, 6-time all nba selection, First Team: 2002, 2003* Second Team: 2001, 2004, 2007* Third Team: 2005 i mean you've accomplished so much what i s gonna keep u going r u just gonna give up or u gonna keep trying, what makes u go to to the gym and work on your game after all these years, those failure make u stronger?? Failure doesn't mean - "You are a failure," It means - You have not succeeded. Failure doesn't mean - "You accomplished nothing," It means - You have learned something. Failure doesn't mean - "You have been a fool," It means - You had a lot of faith. Failure doesn't mean - "You don't have it," It means - You were willing to try. Failure doesn't mean - "You are inferior," It means - You are not perfect. Failure doesn't mean - "You've wasted your life," It means - You have a reason to start afresh. Failure doesn't mean - "You should give up," It means - "You must try harder. Failure doesn't mean - "You'll never make it," It means - It will take a little longer.
I'd note that KG hasn't had much success either at this point of his career and neither has Grant Hill
If I were t-mac, I'll cry all the way to his mommy. I'm just playing. T-mac had a good game 6 but too bad the rest of the team didn't show up. I'm not really let down this year because i know T-mac gave it his all this year. We have too many defensive player when our team is suppose to be an offensive team. Nobody were hitting their shots. I'd expect a few trades in the off season.
yyaass.. nice quotes.. these quotes gotta be featured, to somebody that is going to give up on his life.. really.. and if i were mcgrady, hours on the gym.. try to put every on to my heart and soul.. and WIN IT!
He should practice free throws religiously in the offseason. He has no excuse, at this stage in his career, to be a sub-75% free throw shooter. Those missed free throws made a difference in this series.
To me, not at least winning your conference means you've accomplished nothing, really. I think an 'accomplishment' would be having at least 1 Finals appearance. Everything else is just meaningless fan chatter about advancing a round or two, they really net you nothing in the end. Even if he makes it all the way to the conference final and loses, then his career has pretty much been highlighted by individual greatness and not much team success. Whatever the media harpers on about "not making it out of the first round" is completely meaningless and it's meant for public consumption. They need a way to 'label' each player, everyone has to be known for something and that's what McGrady is known for right now. But in reality, if his goal is to "just get to the next round" so he can shed that label, then everything this team is doing is for naught.
I will do exactly what Tmac is doing right now... Play just above average and miss around 15 games every season so I can keep making that 20+ mill without too much criticism. Then when is finally contract year I will play my heart out and try to get the last big contract. Basically the "say what you want but I am rich, b****." altitude.
i just want to tmac to work on his handels ang get his flipping leg sleeve out and lose some weight dont get me wrong he came in to the seaon in great shape but i just want him to look like this, am i asking for too much <a href="http://img73.imageshack.us/my.php?image=51920620qq3.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img73.imageshack.us/img73/5299/51920620qq3.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://img604.imageshack.us/content.php?page=blogpost&files=img73/5299/51920620qq3.jpg" title="QuickPost"><img src="http://imageshack.us/img/butansn.png" alt="QuickPost" border="0"></a> Quickpost this image to Myspace, Digg, Facebook, and others!
