who here hates ensberg? i certainly don't; i would love for him to bounce back; the team needs him to bounce back. but i'm not going to bury my head in the sand, or contort meaningless numbers to try and spin what's been a much-too long stretch of dreadful offensive production to try and get him off the hook. nor am i going to assume that a 30-year old who has exactly one great season in his brief MLB career is just having an "off" year and will bounce back. the track record is inconclusive to definitely suggest that. the fact is, since may 22, he's been, offensively, the worst everyday 3B in baseball. consistently great hitters go thru stretches, but never this long, and never this awful. something's really wrong and it goes beyond a possible injury, which, if true, would mark the third year in a row he's been hurt, tried to play thru it, and watched his production nose dive because of it. frankly, it's a cycle that's getting old.
you're right...i just heard him say it again. there's nothing at espn or anywhere else i looked...i have no idea what this is. i would guess some sort of ticket promotion, but they're not having any trouble at all selling seats right now.
huff is going to make a huge impact for the astros in Right Field. secondly, if we can somehow get crawford it would be great, but it isnt going to happen. sure lets throw in lane and wandy. thats stupid, neither of them combined with a decent player on our team would validate the rays trading crawford
He's slumping. The numbers were meant to illustrate the fact that despite his slump, he's still one of the most productive hitters in the lineup.
I thought Huff is playing 3rd while Mo get's his sh*t together? Eventually it would be great if he went to RF but what does that do with Berkman and Lamb, only the two most important bats on our team? I just don't know what to think of this in re Mo.
