Think hard, hmmm. who is more valuable for my franchise. Scola or Carl? Tuff job I say. Who could I get more 4! Could Carl lure more teams & keep Luis a reliable 4 but a player who will not likely improve or move Luis & get a lil less 4 imo & keep Carl who is still on da rise! Man hard job I tell u!

Who needs Bosh? We have Cook...... Ouch that reminds me, Cook is injured... Maybe Morey should try to bring in Bosh as a temp replacement....

    Trade Deadline Strategy Scenario

I searched far and wide for this very confidential picture of one of the Rocket's trade deadline scenario discussions. I am not sure of it's authenticity but it is definitely food for thought.

sorry man, I didn't know the thread would be posted without the poll. I thought it was just stored in the drafts until the poll was completed lol.

If there's even a chance to rip Washington apart like that, i wouldn't mind painting body in red and go to work like that for 10 days straight just to show my admiration for DM the Magician!!

Chris Paul is a franchise player. He worths risk to break a team. AI-Brand to tmac will cost no other player. If Branden can be a 15/10, then it's a big steal. Else lets Tmac contract expires.

These are all pretty terrible choices.

I think if a trade does happen, it won't gut the entire team like most of the choices here. Also, if we got Iguodala, it'd be with Dalembert, not Brand (NO ONE wants Brand).

Please post some realistic trade scenarios because no way any of those terrible deals will happen. Neither team would agree !!

The first one to the Wizards is the only one I would do as you have it listed. Great deal for us talent wise, though I am not sure of the contractual obligations of Haywood, Butler, and Jameson. I know Miller is expiring.

The Hornets deal I would do if Chase was taken out of it and maybe add JT instead.

The Sixers deal, they are going to have to give us alot more young talent if they want us to take on both of those long term, big contracts. I'm talking like 2 other young players to make the deal worth doing on our end. (See thread about sixers having to knock over the rockets with young talent) Thaddeus Young, Speights, Lou Williams, etc.

The Raptors deal, again, I would have to take Chase out of. Also, I would push for Lowry to be the point guard included instead of Brooks. I'm fine with the pick included, and I would throw them JT or Dorsey also if they were interested.
