    Warren got married to Astrid in 2006, so again I don't think he has a problem with marriage.

    Maybe the law should be set that the wife DOESN'T get 50% and you need a contract (pre-nup) to SECURE the 50% if both parties agree?

    Makes more sense. The current system is doing damage to your society.

    doesn't pre-nup only entitle you to keep what you own prior to marriage? the purchases after marriage is 50%?

    No, I don't think I would marry because guys would just want money and sex! If I had a boyfriend for a while before i became rich, i would marry!

    The question should be if you were filthy rich could you afford to divorce your wife? It's the normal guys who make under 100K a year that have to live in tents after they divorce that should be the most careful.

    My answer is get married only if you are interested in having kids because if you're not you can have all the fun you want playing the field. Just have good insurance in case she falls down your stairs. :p

    As long as there's guys tired of the chase, the pursuit and the games of sexual courtship there will be guys that marry. Except it shouldnt be a millionaire/billionaire :)

    I personally dont see how (monogamous) marriage benefits a guy much at all. Family, women and children benefit for sure. I guess there's always that feeling of "ownership" of a woman thats apealling about it...
