    Trust me I am not flaunting anything, far from the smartest man in the room in that dept.-
    The point is to explain that there are so many different variables to look at,
    and this is how he flips a Lowry into a lottery pick, or how he finds Landry
    in the second round then trades him for a better player in Martin.
    Some fans hate Morey bc they don't understand the basis of what he's doing
    It works, he's rarely been wrong - I loved Rudy gay, but wasn't DM fault bc he had Roy as his num. 1, and he was great, but luckily we got kahn'd ....
    and got Battier who was the heart of this team
    DM knows more basketball than you guys so shut up hate if you want.
    Just try to help others understand there is more to ball than the basic variables,
    speaking of a guy like Dwight in just yalls basic understanding easy variables
    of HEIGHT make him the most wanted man by all teams.
    -every team in the league would be doing what we are trying to do...if they COULD

    One word: STABILITY

    You obviously dont get it. We dont want anymore flippable assets that will "eventually" land us a star. Because eventually becomes never-ending. We want players that will be here for years to come, that can grow with us. Why spend your entire offseason chasing a player that won't be here long term? You'll gut your whole team just tbe back in the same situation next season. No stability.

    If your goin to rebuild get a young project (like A. Bynum) and solidify you're future. Part of being a great GM is building relationships with other GM's along w/ players & agents. If nobody wants to deal with you or play for your team that slows the rebuilding process up tremendously. That's why I dont see us going anywhere with Morey

    I agree with you Dreamshake, the flippable assets seem never-ending especially all the players who have come and gone. Sometimes its hard to see but if it pays off then its justified if not its hit the road IMO. The key is not only landing DH but resigning him and surrounding him with talent when he has stated he does not want to be here short or long term.

    How r****ded a sentiment is this? I guess your more a fan of the Houston Moreys than the Houston Rockets.

    With your line of thinking you could never ever complain about the GM, the coach, or any player. Ever. Heck I guess Isiah Thomas should not be ridiculed, because he had a plan.

    Get off the kool aid bro. Be a fan of the rockets and not the creaking GM. I mean look at what we have since he came on board. Make any excuse you want to, we are not a better FRANCHISE since Morey came on board. End of discussion.

    You don't get graded in college for how much you try, you get graded for what you know to do. You don't get paid by your job for how much you try, you get paid for what you do.

    Taken into consideration all of Morey's accomplishments in the last 3 years, he hasn't done that much. I don't care how much he tried. We got the 14th pick for 3 years in a row... that's not much of a result in my opinion.

    I'm begging you people, stop drinking the Moreyaid, open your eyes and see the real facts.

    morey could be trolling everyone.

    In a perfect world we get howard and sign cp3 for max deal in FA.

    Along the way we screw up chicago cap space with asik match, we screw up dallas cap since they were going to sign scola and morey knew this, we troll lakers because they are stuck with bynum and no howard, we troll NY by screwing up their cap space with lin, we troll brooklyn by not letting them have howard, we troll ORL by giving them an offer they cant refuse, we troll everyone by clearing max room for 2 even if howard leaves to go after josh smith, millsap or cp3 combo. We get to develop white,lamb,dmo and if nothing happens we get a high pick and space for 2 maxes in 2013. sounds like morey might be trolling on the hard.

    What hampered contracts with injure players-we couldn't get equal value but...
    Wait we did we traded Landry for Kmart, and flipped the most outlandish
    trade on NYK which actually started all this, and put us in the upper hand over the Leauge -
    -every TEAM in the league would give up whatever ORL asked for Dwight Howard
    -some aren't gamblers, CD would have done the same thing;he takes the super star just like Barkley etc.
    -I'm a HOUSTON ROCKETS fan
    -and haters can ya hear me lemme know when any one of these draft picks we
    five up, let alone the draft players we drafted for ORL bc we scouted for them,
    and took our best available after MKG, and Drummond
    -yup lemme know when any guy we trade is wanted by the whole League :cool::rolleyes:

    The NYK trade I refer above is the Tslack trade...that got us first rd picks
    and we....ROBBED them blind just like the Camby deal! Thanks Marcus!
    And thanks NYK for paying Douglas and giving all ungauranteed ballers that
    could, or could not make the team!

    When has Dwight been quoted in the public about any other team than Brooklyn,
    He opted in supposedly last yr bc magic were trading him to Hou.? But heresy
    So dream said he didn't mention the nets and he was suprised
    Maybe he hasn't said anything along the lines, but BSPN, and his agents fed
    a circus to make this "a Decicision"-hype up Dwight's name until Dwight has been talked about more than Obama.
    -if it were up to his agent he'd have a news conference on CNN

    I dunno if Morey gets Howard thats great cause hes been trying to get a star player for a while but if doesnt its gonna suck but to me it dont matter cause I REALLY like our draft picks and D-MO man hes gonna be my new fav Rocket since ****in Scola is gone ...
