This guy . . . my name is TexAg. It is clearly from Texags.com. Im glad you were able to make the connection. I "seem like an aggie", that makes about as much sense as your initial post. Please stop posting, like please clutchfans is begging you. Everyone is upset at the recently proposed trade idea that was published by ESPN. LET US BE MAD!

Soooo...he's going to bail on us, and leave for the Nets who don't
want him anymore (like they said they tried, ORL had 14 days to do
something)-you have to pay to get a superstar.
Just look at what CD traded to get Stevie Franchise who was a diva himself
that had not played an NBA game. I get some don't want to throw the kitchen
sink to get the guy, but what exactly do you think he's worth-also
we will still be in position to have cap space we aren't locking ourselves
into anything bad-if we lose him then we get to rebuild, we tried.
I think you have to gamble sometimes, we've been begging for a super star,
and now that we may get HIM we are mad that we traded some assets that Morey made into better assets. I don't get the reasoning-Not like we can get Howard by trading a Horford, and a couple throw ins, we didn't have that type
of asset...we had the type of assets Hennigen wanted cap space, and picks.
Morey knew this so flipped assets for "Hennigen's assets"

I see what you're trying to say here but I kind of disagree. Those draft picks, in the hands of mere mortals, are a crapshoot. However, because Morey's staff is so adept at consistently drafting underrated talent, they suddenly increase in value once the picks have been made.

Even if you don't share this viewpoint, I bet this is how they'll be sold to the Magic: These aren't just draft picks, they're picks with the added value of months of highly regarded scouting and evaluation, both traditional and statistical. These are not only players from an incredibly deep draft, they are also much better than their draft order would indicate.

I agree Third Eye. Morey has a purpose in every move he makes. True not every move works out but he always has a contigency plan and never backs himself in a corner.

He allows for competiveness while maintaining flexibilty. What else could anyone ask for. I for one think even after the Howard trade IS completed we will still have a good compliment of players surrounding him and WILL be competitive.

On a side note prepare to be flamed. I started a Fickle fan thread last week that brought out a lot of Morey haters. From reading your posts though you seem to be able to handle the difference in opinion just as I did.

    Well done sir..Well done

The stupid and childish thing about this trade is that Morey hasn't done anything to be upset about. I guarantee you that the OP will be praising Morey if the trade goes down and we pick up a 2nd superstar. Some childish impatient 17 years old opened his thread and hopefully it get locked.
    Thanks good day too you

If y'all are mad, yet saying the Dwight trade hasn't "gone through" yet
so what has he done-well he flipped Bert and bud for a
first round pick, he flipped camby in a s&t for more picks, and a PG being paid by
NYK, he flipped Lowry for a TOR lottery pick-you're right he's done nothing
    this summer

I don't think this was all morey's plan... I think he's getting better at capitalizing when the opportunity presents itself.

Though I hope we don't trade all three of our rookies to get Dwight

I am praising Morey, either way if it happens or not...
I'm talking to those that are crying bc our offer of players
that haven't done much of a damn thing, barring maybe Parsons

Why lose all of our draft pics and team this year, just to have to do the same thing next year in an even weaker draft with less cap space. Of everyone proposed to come from Orlando we would still have 25 million on the books for next years big free agency, and we also would have lost our draft pics from this year as well as Parsons. Im not at all bothered by losing Morris, Patterson, Martin, Fordson, and a pick or 2 but absorbing a Turkoglu contract with $11,815,850 3 year contract doesn't just screw us this year, but for the next 3 years. No one in the NBA wants that contract which is why Orlando can not get rid of him. Scola was leaps and bounds ahead of Turkoglu. In your opinion what makes this trade smart for the Rockets? Add spaces

THats my point captainundapants-I think he can get Dwight then
we will have cap space next year-that's my point-that the deal
    still leaves us flexible.

So what do you suggest? Cause stuff like this takes times. I guarantee you if we are the GM we would have been for every trade we would hav offered. We as fans only look to the upcoming season while MOrey is looking for the future as well. I mean look at the bright side If we don't get Howard we have the drafts picks and cap space to rebuild which is what some people suggest we do. But if we rebuild what happens next? I know we start yet another thread and how more should be fired and Les Alexander sucks.

Explain to me where this cap space comes from by absorbing 25 million + in contracts while trading our current 15 million? Plus we cant trade Dwight at the end of the year because he would be an unrestricted free agent. If Dwight would sign a 3 year deal minimum then this all changes.

TeasAgg-didnt think Turk was in the trade I thought-either way scola was overpaid
and we didn't care to think about the future then when giving him that
extension. It's a one time amnesty that helps us-he'd have a tough time doing 15,10 again
IMO...he's older than his age bc of games on the legs.
I also believe Morey will be able to flip a bad contract or two-Duhon's
contract is a tad bearable-again though we will have cap space to
get a 2nd superstar, or baller.
