What?? That hotbed of liberals has a divorce rate nearly half of what "god fearing Texas" has? For shame!

    *(insert multiple roll-eyes here)

So my wife of 27 years and I live in the only tolerant county in the state. Golly. Gee whiz. Now I can sleep better at night, knowing that it's also the capitol of a state that had a highly motivated, but small minority of the voters dump their "values" on top of everyone else's. Maybe, just maybe, the rest of the state will wake up and vote the next time the lunatics are trying to take over the asylum.

Maybe. I won't hold my breath.

    Keep D&D Civil.

Simple solution, check those who want to get divorced whether at one time in their lives ever muttered something like "sanctity of marriage" and "between a man and a woman." If they did, then either don't allow them to get divorced or don't allow them to vote on gay marriage ever again.

IIRC Massachusetts has the lowest divorce rate in the country AND it has legal gay marriages

Gay marriage hasn't destroyed the institution of marriage in that state.

Absolutely. We also haven't seen society being toppled on its head. People who don't like gay marriage are still free to teach their children that it is a bad thing.

I haven't seen one bad result for straight families in Mass as a result of gay marriage being legal thee.

You mean, no bad result other than the obvious fact that the entire population of Massachusetts will be going straight to hell once they die.
