First, I appreciate the much needed positive outlook. We still are within reach of the second seed if we get our stuff together for this final stretch, and that's nuts!

I think we would have all loved to seen the right trade at the deadline, but if that's not out there then they did exactly what they should do. Roll with what we've got. Let these kids get their first taste of playoff experience. Then evaluate the market in the offseason. There are already rumors Ja and Durant will be available. Lord only knows who else could shake loose between now and then. Here's to hoping Ant gets sick of the cold.

Not satisfied at all, once they had a 17-6 Road record now it is 17-14 - that is ridiculous to lose 8 in a row - expectations were higher based upon how they looked now they just look tired, and out of gas.

The Rockets are currently on pace to win 47 games. Which is about in line with where fans were predicting them to start the year. Whether people thought that was a 5th seed or not I have no idea. But it's not totally out of line with expectations to begin the year.

More importantly though, are you optimistic about this young group? Sengun has taken a clear step back on offense. Jabari has not improved. Tari is still injury prone. Cam and Reed are in the doghouse. Amen had a stretch of amazing play but has seemingly run out of gas. I won't mention Jalen cause he seems to be a lightning rod when discussed, but suffice to say he has yet to turn into a star.

For a team with as many high draft picks and young, athletic players, they are incredibly reliant on having FVV run the offense and Dillon Brooks providing shooting. But these are guys who are suppose to just complement the youngsters, not be the core of the team.
