What I really want to know about Denmark is how their LED light bulb technology is coming along...

With all the taxes that we pay you would figure that we could get some of the same benifits.

They're doing really well, especially economically. Relatively good human wellbeing statistics and societal health markers across the board.

Personally I don't love it from a nature perspective, and for some reason their life expectancy is a decent bit lower than the other Scandinavian countries, I'd go Sweden or Norway first, personally.

Not sure the Google AI is trustworthy but I’m probably just remembering where they originated. I always think clogs and windmills for the Netherlands, but yeah I suppose other countries adopted the style.

Haha appreciated it bro, will dedicate my life to sweep the floor, family's cones 1st
when my dentist told me she sent her kids to NZ for dancing classes/competition, or how she was surprised the sushi there wasn't as good as here, I kept thinking how bad my teeth were actually that she can afford it , she thinks it's good place for short visit
I found Japanese very hard to deal with, not that they were bad, just diffrent, Chinese are quite friendly morebthan most from East Asia

I don't want to offend anyone , but the entire time I was in Houston I felt I was dating this nice lady who was so UN- attractive but quite nice, cook , clean and take care of you but you fantasize of dining out one day, I spent a lot of time moving from one place to another, if you are an outdoor person BC >> Switzerland.Spain is just pure fun

search affordable places like Prince George, Dawson Creek, Kitmat, Lolita,Haiti Gwai worth visiting specially if you want to try BC Alaska Highway, guarantee you will stop every half an hour to take a photo and wonder why can't the camera can't do justice to what you see

Bellingham in Washington State is very decent with strategic location at a fraction of Vancouver/Seattle that can give you the benefits of both countries

Haven't read this thread but I'm assuming everyone has been wanting to move to Australia and quench their hard earned thirst with a big cold beer

Always tempting especially with the current administration. That would be my primary reason for moving. At the very least, maybe out of Texas. I love Houston, but it's in a state that's so damn backwards.

Canada, maybe. Mexico is even more corrupt, so I don't know. I hear they treat ex-pats decent there though. Moving overseas, maybe. Would be far from family, though. I think, for sure, I'd retire in another country. Before retirement? Tough one. Hoping our country can heal and get better, but a tough one.

Try visiting first. I know a 60yr old nurse thats wanting to move to queretaro Mexico. A nice gated brand new house is like 200k. They have a nearby mall that's the size of 5 gallerias.

We've visited, mostly the touristy areas like Cancun, Cabo, Puerto Vallarta. I hear the 3rd place Puerto Vallarta is decent to retire to. Probably need to visit the non-touristy areas too for a better picture.

In New Zealand, they call trash cans 'wheelie bins' and flu shots 'flu jabs'

The domestic beer in Australia isn't good. It tastes like soapy water because of the variety of hops used. if you're a craft guy it's undrinkable.
