Not really. More of a Beethoven man myself.

Also, if Neuschwanstein is unavailable, I would settle for Virgin Gorda.

Phew. Would have warned you about the Grotto, and going for walks by the lake with your doctor...

That's pretty funny to me, but you might want to explain for those not up on obscure German history.

    SJC,

Never been to Maldives, but from what I do know, the main difference is that Sey gives you a little bit more culture, and I think prettier scenery. Sey has mountains and these huge granite boulders that make its beaches as picturesque as any place in the world IMO. Some of the backdrops are just incredible, while the Maldives to my knowledge is really flat. I imagine the water quality, in terms of beauty/color, is about the same.

But, the Maldives is definitely a cheaper destination for tourists, a little more isolated if that's what you are going for (there are isolated destinations in Sey, but they are on the outer islands and very exclusive) I imagine the service in Maldives is a lot better, too -- a few exceptions aside, service in Seychelles sucks outside of the 5-star establishments, which are obviously incredibly expensive. I have heard that the diving is better in Maldives also. The coral reefs in Seychelles are regenerating after much of it had bleached and died.

Oh, and if you're single, Seychelles has to have one of the highest per capita hottie ratios anywhere.

Should specify gender, aren't they're a lot of shemales in Rio?
