Whoops, my bad. You're right. I was thinking of ellipsis in the plural form, which does end with -es.

Ellipse is a common answer choice on my AP tests.They use ellipse as the singular form of the word on my tests, which is why I thought you didn't write it correctly. I hate ellipses.
