I would choose to be deaf, without question. I can't imagine not being able to read or play sports.

Oh, and if gay was an option, I would choose that for sure. The "gayness" would have to be genuine, though. (ie: I would have to be legitimately attracted to fellows... can't imagine what that would be like, but I'd pick that over blindness, deafness or paralysis).

I can't imagine being any of them. I lost my voice completely for a few days a couple of weeks back, and even that was frustrating -- at least for me, not necessarily for my wife.

okay dude...

this is so simple.

if you're blind. you can't look at women... the most beautiful thing on earth. if you're paralyzed... then you can look but you can't do it... that would suck. deaf doesn't prevent you from doing either of those things. plus, there's closed captioning for the hearing impaired.
