Oh yeah. You just proved your point, not a team player. ONLY thinks about himself.

If you want a guy who fakes injuries to make sure sure he doesnt get traded to a loser team, and sells out on his team mates mid season, then you my friend, are the CRAZY one

it wasn't the Raptors dunk, it was the three plays after it where he stood 1 foot inside the HALF COURT line and watched us play 4 on 5 basketball

He quit. This isn't last season. This is this season, and although he is talented he is a mental midget who's style of play does not fit with this team this season and he is unwilling to adapt. I don't want a guy like that...he doesn't even try to defend and he doesn't even try to play within the offense that everyone else plays

we won't be able to meet lakers in the playoffs with TMAC playing.
and by the way, tmac hasn't proved anything in the playoffs either while he got more opportunities.

Please stop insulting AI. His playing style may not fit in a lot of teams. But the guy is all heart and gives his all on court. You can't say the same thing about mcgrady.

There's a big difference between not trying and not being able to because you're physically limited. Everyone and their mothers could see there is something wrong w/ McGrady atm - and it isn't just mental.

thankkkk youuu. T-wacks number's dont prove anything. The only numbers that matter are his playoff wins to his loses. You can go ahead and tell me that number

If somehow the TMAC of old came back, of course you'd take him. But you'd have to be nuts to take the POS TMAC that we've seen this seen. And if he did come back, I'd bank on it being the most recent version.

And if he did fake all the surgery talk, that's one more reason you don't want him back.

Couldn't disagree with the OP more.

I was very much opposed to the trade and I was very disappointed by McGrady's latest disappearing act (as I have been many times since we and Orlando somehow both got screwed in that old Francis/Mobley/Cato mega-trade), but I am excited to be a Rockets fan again.

Not just because we're winning. I agree that the sample size of games since Mac (and Alston) has been gone is too small to be confident that this is a better team than it was with him.

But it is indisputably a more spirited team. It is a team I love to root for.

And the team that starred a moody, glass kneed, glass shouldered, glass minded, glass everythinged all-star wasn't.

These guys are in it together, win or lose. The T-Mac led Rockets weren't.

No disrespect to Alston, but the team's better without him too.

There is such a thing as addition by subtraction.

McGrady could be 100% healthy tomorrow and I wouldn't want him back anymore than I'd want a vintage Scottie Pippen, Eddie Griffin, Karl Malone or Carlos Boozer.

I don't love the Rockets because I'm from Houston and their jersey says Houston on it. I love them because I'm from Houston and sometimes they play with serious grit, as a team.

As a Rockets fan, having suffered through this season and the ones that went before, even when T-Mac was at his best -- physically and WAY more importantly emotionally -- I have to say you're crazy if you'd take him back.

I hope he never suits up for us again. That's not because I'm mad at him or dislike him. I don't. It's just because I like the team, and how it plays, better without him.

If we brought McDaisy back we wouldnt have to worry about playing the LakeShow bc we would be in the lottery.

Ill take my chaces with the no-name team we have now that give it their all and I will live and die with them.

As for Tracy, he needs to go find the hole BinLaden is sitting/hiding in, and go join him.

He quit on this city, and im not afraid to say i have quit on him

A player that quits on a team (even Worrell and Bullard were disgusted and they are paid to compliment the Rox) is a player I don't want. There were games where his knee was strong enough on the offensive end and he didn't defend. He also moved just fine with the ball, but refused to participate in the plays without it.

I realize he was hurt...I don't doubt his knee is a problem, but his effort and attitude have been crap all year, and I would rather play without him. We can agree to disagree, but I find it hard to believe you can support someone who openly quit on his team (not talking about Orlando) and who won't play the system that the TEAM runs...a system that is good enough to go 15-6 without him

astros148. What makes you think T-MAC will help us in the playoffs when this season even after he came "back to his old self!" led to him getting stuffed by the rim and a losing record with him playing? You back your opinions with no facts. gtfo please bye
