Really excited about next year. Truely believe mda has more to work with now then those runs with the Suns. He has NEVER had an offensive beast like the beard. We are going hard after Durant now and I'm not going to be surprised if he's in red next year due to this hire. I think we pick up another two lower level stars to entice Durant to htown. Also with all this bad d talk between mda and harden I think they both step up to the plate and do what they are capable of - play and coach solid d. 3rd seed is well within reach and conference semis are a lock, conf finals looks good and I may even say finals look like a possibility! Mda shaved clean the stash cause he knows that pictures going to be hanging from the top of the Toyota center soon!

Well, he's not wrong. He hasn't had an offensive player LIKE Harden before... Nash's highest scoring season was 18.8 points per game. Harden averaged 29.0 points per game last season. Nash is obviously the better passer and overall floor general. But he's not wrong when he says D'Antoni hasn't had an offensive player like Harden before...
Check yourself... Many aren't happy with MDA because he hasn't had a positive impact on the game as a coach since 2008. His career play-off record is 26-33. Yawn... While he might work out(and we all hope he does) that doesn't mean our hopes of give candidate "x" a shot couldn't have done better. To say our roster is better than what he had with the Suns shows you are the one that doesn't know basketball. This roster right now might be closer to what he had in NY than PHX.
Agree. Rockets are lucky to have him. Great coach. Other teams were beating down his door. Through it all, when other teams were calling, I'm glad he chose Houston over those other teams. As Bill O'Brien once said about his QBs, I'll say about Mike D'Antoni: the City of Houston should be proud of Mike D'Antoni. This guy can coach. He's coached in this league before and has had success. Mike & his staff are gonna be out here busting their ass every day at practice working with these guys to get the best of of them. I'm looking forward to seeing him coach and you should too.
