I have a lot of regrets.

    4. Taking part in a softball game on July 3rd of this year. I hadn't played softball for over fifteen years and ended up messing up my shoulder pretty badly.

    3. Waiting so late to decide on entering the military. I have an application in progress, but I wish I had applied two or three years ago.

    2. Being so uptight in high-school. I was also too picky with girls, and thus didn't have much (ie: any) romance. I was an idiot.

..but my biggest regret has to be:

    1. Giving a toy stuffed animal that I won at the fair twelve years ago to the blonde girl a year older than me who brazenly asked for it instead of my little sister who was too shy to speak up, but who obviously wanted it herself.

I don't really have any on the BBS, except maybe taking Dikembe Mutombo instead of Jerry Stackhouse in my fantasy league this year.

I would like to take back some of my first posts. Some of them were pretty stupid and did not deserve being posted. One thread I made comes to mind, but I don't want to say it. I'm too embarassed. Stupid gym rats.

In real life, I don't really have any big regrets. I kind of wish I took more vitamins, drank water at a younger age, and worked harder at a younger age but those aren't big things.

Wait, maybe I wished I would have joined those little dribbler leagues you can get into when you're like 8 or whatever. I loved basketball, but I never did those things. Therefor, it took longer for me to learn the basics and how to play with others.

Like I said, no big regrets.

On here- I've made a lot of bad jokes and have killed several threads with a lame reply. I think I'll go back with the search engine now and edit them all to be blank.

Otherwise- there have been a lot of girls that I really liked but never worked up the courage to ask out. In retrospect, it's pretty obvious that some of them felt the same way, one even flat out told me so- after she got married :( . Oh well, "of all the words of mice and men..."

The one thing I wish I could take back was a very horrible prank I played when I was about eight or nine years old.

A couple of friends and I were playing, and one of my friends suggested we play a prank on his parents. We could call them and say that he got run over in the middle of the street, and was dead.

For whatever stupid reason I did it. I called this kids parents acted like I was crying and told them their son had been hit by a car and was dead in the middle of the street.

Immediately after hearing the mom's reaction, I said it wasn't true, and we all jumped on our bikes to ride over to his house and apologize.

It was the stupidest, and worst thing I've ever done. I really wish I wouldn't have done that.

That's pretty bad, FB. Reminds me of a funny story, though. Friend of mine was tripping on acid in college and became convinced he'd died. Called his mother in Houston at 4am and said, "Mom, it's your son. I'm just calling to say I'm dead. It's all going to be alright. I love you." As soon as he'd hung up, he realized what he'd done and had to make up a story about being dosed unawares by a friend.
