    What do you choose?

I ask because with the anticipation of Jim Crane taking over, I've heard talk about new uniforms being introduced, and it seems that there is a ton of support for the Astros returning to the shooting star unis.

I personally think that the shooting star unis are great as a throwback, used every once in a while, but do not look like they belong as the everyday uniforms for a professional team in 2011.

    My vote goes to these:

Just as old, but with a more timeless feel.

Bring back the H inside the star as the cap, and keep the current color scheme to avoid too radical a change.

What do you think the next uniforms should be?

New logo and color scheme entirely?

    Photoshoppers/design artists welcome.

ps- Sorry if this doesn't deserve its own thread, but I did a search for past threads about new uniforms and the most recent one was three years ago. I figure with the season we're having, we need something to look forward to.

I always liked these, change the letters from blue to orange.

Top it off with the old school H star blue hat

    And the alternate

Go with a little darker orange, one thats not quite so loud

I like the current unis, colors, and logo. I'm all for stability. I don't see any reason to change.

I never was a big fan of the mid-'90s blue and gold look. I like the current uniforms, but wouldn't mind going back to the star with the H on it. I like the picture posted of the Nolan Ryan jersey. Make the orange a shade darker, and I'm all for it.

I'd be great with the shooting star or the one in the OP's post.

Would really like a return of the white "H" in the orange star on dark blue, again.

I liked the blue and gold color scheme best. I always thought it looked classy. I do like the H-star, but the rainbow uniforms and color scheme should have stayed in the 1970s. If he just wants to tweak, I'd be happy if they just got rid of the pinstripes and made the white uniforms with red hats the standard home uniforms.

yeah, i'm not interested in the return of the rainbow. but this organization played under the orange star for a long while without the rainbow.

The current logo is the only thing I like about the Astros. It's really slick, I think I like it more than any other logo in sports.

It's weird having a team named after astronauts but themed around a train station.

Some form of the rainbow or at the very least bring back orange. The mid '90s and current uniforms are boring to me.

I've always been a fan of the mid-90s blue and gold unis. Some of that has to do with those being my formative years as a fan, though. My favorite one was the blue Sunday jerseys with the gold star on the chest with the hat with the gold bill.

    this.

the current unis have a very classic look and feel about them, nothing gimmicky. i'd be disappointed if they changed them. hell, this team has never sniffed more success then in these current unis.

I like our logo, I like our colors. I just hate the antiquated feel of it all though. We are the space city, and rocket ships, and stars, yet we go all bat **** crazy to hear junction jack, a freaking rabbit in overalls drive some pumpkins 100 feet to the left field foul pole.

Keep our colors, and make it kinda like the blue and gold jerseys of the 90s or something. I hate our current script logo.

Change the choo-choo train into a shuttle.

Kill Junction Jack and bring back Orbit.

Would it still run horizontally or would it blast off?

I'm opposed to a logo/uniform change but I'd be very much in favor of this.

Well I guess it would have to be horizontal. Just make some smoke blow out the back or something.
