Gordon since CC is a FA after next season.

Especially if a trade headlined by CC gets you George.

    Add Willie Reed, Baynes/Blatche etc....

exactly..Stop thinking long term people. We're all in now and have no time for Capelas ceiling. That's a valuable gamble for a younger team. We need Gordon's skills, hunger, experience. His injury history is not chronic issues and he managed it well last year.

CC still lacks experience and has deer in headlights moments.. Bring back NeNe and a similar vet to play crunch time minutes and a younger Dedmon type player can handle the regular season grind. If we can get better than that, great, but a paul george addition would make a "Dedmon" good enough.

My concern is that Clint will be traded
for Melo. I don't want that at all.

He averaged 19 and 12 on per 36 basis

But he can't play more than 25 minutes. I like his upside but I think we'll lose him in free agency. Someone will offer him a crazy salary. But i think he gets traded before we ever get close to losing him for nothing. Onuaku is a different kind of player but I think he + a vet like Nene can hold it down. With half the team shipped out, I think Ego is more valuable *this year*. That said, no one but the 2 superstars are untouchable.

Me three. You've got to think the Knicks would love to put CC next to Porzingis in the frontcourt.

So why isn't he playing 36 minutes?

    Because they had Nene?

Capela also had a consistent positive +/- even more so after returning from the broken leg

He was the best Rocket against San Antonio
