I love Battier. But we really need rebounding, defense, someone to facilitate other than our stars, and someone to play center. So, my pick goes to Chuck Hayes. His high post passing, grit, defense, sneaky scoring touch, and intelligence would make us very tough to stop.

What's the point of contemplating if Harden won't pass.

Disqualifiers: 1) Big man 2) Cant shoot from outside 3) Losers (Pippen, McGrady, Airemy Lin, etc.)

Preference given to players that can defend unless overall talent trumps all.

    In order:

    1) Artest

    2) Horry

    3) Cassell

    4) Jim Jackson

    5) Pat Beverley

    6) Ariza (not the current version)

    7) Luc Moute (Healhty version)

    8) Mario Elie

    9) Jason Terry (prime version)

    10) Bobby Jackson (if in prime)

    11) Bob Sura

    13) Joe Johnson (As long aa not the broken shitty version that we got)

    14) Vernon Maxwell

    15) Shane Battier

    16) Aaron Brooks (pre-injury)

    17) James Posey

    18) Glen Rice

    19) Chandler Parsons (pre douche version)

    20) Mike James (the first version)

    21) Dragic

    22) Jon Barry

    23) Eddie Johnson

Robert Horry is the right answer here. Perfect size and shooting combination.

Since we are loaded at the guard position other intriguing of/sf options for me would be.

    Like everyone has said.
    Artest, Battier, Luc, Chandler Parson.

    but I also like.
Scola would fit in our offense and help with rebounding.
Landry would be a good small ball 5.
Josh Smith would be really intriguing as a small ball 5.
Eddie Griffin seems like he would be awesome in the new NBA. RIP.

i think i'd have to pick vernon. he would play instead of mac and house and he could switch seamlessly on the perimeter with tucker. he could also get out and run the break with russ and hit clutch shots....

A lot of all stars have been listed. Including Artest. He was an all star. So if the rules don't matter... Hakeem, then Moses in that order.
