    Center: Dwight Howard
    Power Forward: Pau Gasol
    SF: Kevin Durant
    SG: Manu Ginobili
    PG: LeBron James

Following the Spurs formula of twin towers defense. LBJ although listed as an SF is basically the major playmaker for the Cavs offense. Kevin Durant, Manu, Pau can spread the floor and latter two play pretty well off-ball. Run pick and roll for Dwight Howard and LBJ => pick your poison/poster.

    C-DH
    PF-Dirk
    SF-Durant
    SG-LBJ
    PG-Rondo

^I like this lineup a lot. You have good D with DH controlling the paint and 2 defensive guys in LBJ and Rondo providing D at the positions with the most star players. Durant and Dirk provide the spacing and outside scoring, while you have Rondo who can penetrate inside and help out on rebounding. LBJ is of course self-explanatory.

    pg: Steve Nash
    sg: Kevin Durant
    sf: Lebron James
    pf: Dwight Howard
    c: Yao Ming

Of course there's always the question about health, but sans that, no one is better than these guys and they all compliment each other extremely well. This isn't necessarily a team built to last for years and years, but it would be a hell of a team to see out on the floor. I know that Nash has had trouble running with bigs before, but I will give Ming and Howard the benefit of the doubt.

    Vitamin Water Guy
    Flash
    King
    Big Fundamental
    Great Wall

This is the lineup for me as not only are they effective at their positions, they can blend with each other and play as a team :) .

    pg steve nash

    sg kobe bryant

    sf kevin durant

    pf dwight howard

    c yao ming

dare anyone to beat that line up.

nobody except k0obe is selfish. they wouldnt mind passing.

yao and howard make up for nash's defense.

they cant double team either yao or dwight cause you have 2 pure shooters and the deadliest man in the game. and you cant double kobe or durant cause you have possible the two biggest inside presences in the game.

I'm just fascinated by the number of people who think Yao would make any kind of ultimate starting five. I don't care if he is fully healthy.

Equally fascinating are people who are not putting Lebron on said list.

    Dwight
    David Lee
    Bron
    Durant
    Nash

I like having Nash's 3 pt shooting ability and creativity on the court alongside Bron and Durant. It was tough leaving Kobe off of here, but I do think a tandem of Durant/LBJ would be sick. David Lee doesn't need the ball as a PF and creates extremely well for his teammates. I think that this is a strong team that complements each other's strengths well while covering up weaknesses.

not gonna lie, part of the reason is just cause im too big of a fan of his.

-Dwight could run the floor better and would have a greater defensive presence.

-Yao has better offensive capabilities, changes a lot of shots at 7'6, and can actually shoot free throws for a center. His major flaws would be that he's slow and could turnover the ball a lot.
