    the Rockets organization actually drafted (NOT named Hakeem AND can be when they were still in San Diego), who would it be? There have been some damn good ones, including a few Hall of Famers.

    Speaking of Hall of Famers, I would have to go with Elvin Hayes. The guy could score in bunches and provide you with a solid defensive presence every night, not to mention that he averaged over 12 boards a game. Even in today's game, I think Big E would excel. What say you, boys?

    NOTE: Thought I would start a thread like this to sort of take away from all of the Lin/D12 talk!

    YAO, he was a once-in-a-lifetime 7'6 chinese center with a soft touch. Man, if we could just re-do his career....

    As desperate as this sounds ... Yao Ming, but knowing what I know now. I would have gotten him some of the best and most innovative treatments in the world or simply hired away the entire Phoenix Suns staff, ahead of time.

    Same for Ralph Sampson.

    I would chose a player with a very unique name that in no way sounds like the name of a player already in the league.... I wouldnt want the guy my team is built around to be confused with another player because of the names... Oh and Matt Bullard.

    I've always wondered what would of come of it if we'd taken Mj instead of Akeem. And if Sampson hadn't of been pushed so much on his bad knee, what kind of team would that of been. As good as the "Twin Towers"...better?

    Yao Ming, as long as we can limit his international playing time so that he has a few more years.

    If I can't get China to agree to that, then I'd go for Calvin Murphy.
