    Eddie Griffin...

...with a post-up game, a decent hook shot, and 15lbs. of more muscle on his frame.

Dirk Nowitzki. Could you imagine him together with Yao Ming? That would be something.

Well, no team can go wrong with a Jordan in his Prime. ;)

Currently though, it's hard to say no to a defensive and rebounding machine like Ben Wallace that can guard so many positions and do so many things on the court without needing the ball in his hands.
He's a bigger, quicker, faster, more determined Rodman without the issues.
The one thing he doesn't have that Rodman did, was the ability to really get on your nerves. A big PLUS.

Though, what this team really needs is a Dirk, Allen Houston, Ray Allen, Peja, or anyone that can shoot a jumper consistently!
I really do believe that if Stevie and Ming had that "shooter" on the team, the offense would flow so much better.
Giving both of those players more room and time to operate.

A forward who knows how to use a crow bar so he could pry the ball away from Moochie and The Cat

Larmar Odom - pre-clippers. He's a shot creator for him and/or teamates that can dribble and drive as good as any off guard, has played PG during his Rookie year for 10-15mins a game. Got the 6'10 size and aggressiveness to rebound to play PF which he does at times. He's just a player that can be put at the PG,SG,SF,PF spots and be effective.

A true power forward like Otis Thorpe or Charles Oakley of '94 who doesn't care about getting shots, just enforcing under the basket and truly having Yao's back at all times.

I see our foremost need as an enforcer. I would want a 4 who is mean and can play great interior defense. Brand would be great. Or a poor man's Brand (Brian Grant). Or a potential poor mans Brian Grant to bring off the bench.

Dude, you obviously never saw Calvin play. Passing was not in his vocabulary. There's a reason he was a 5'9" shooting guard.

Actually we have 5 retired numbers :)

    #22 - Clyde Drexler; #23 - Calvin Murphy; #24 - Moses Malone; #34 - Hakeem Olajuwon; #45 - Rudy Tomjanovich

I wonder if we ever got MJ, what # would he have taken...

Murphy has less assists than Barkley. He holds the record only because we have not had a point guard stay in town for more than a few years.

I agree - toughness inside....Elton Brand, Ben Wallace, Kenyon Martin, or Najera from Dallas- a cheaper Brian Grant. We need some muscle underneath,

This has been said before by others smarter than me. I am saying this in support and agreement....

Ohhh - A train- Power Dancers stay slim and Svelt - wearing thong underwear. Also Instead of A Eddie Griffin Water bottle - have string Bikini nite for the Power dancers.

    Power Forward.

An Elton Brand, Dirk Nowitzki, or Tim Duncan. Not Kevin Garnett because he is too greedy.

Could the Rockets afford an Elton Brand or Tim Duncan?

Ralph Sampson, prior to his knee injury.

Although Ralph did not meet the expectations of many, he was, at least to me, one of the most exciting Rockets player ever to watch.

I was a Sampson fan before I became an Olajuwon fan.

Just a thought, is Jonathan Bender of the Indiana Pacers a good fit for the Rockets? I was just thinking because Maurice Taylor is taking so long to get his old form before that Achilles injury.

Rudy has to lighten up, because he got one of the best rosters in the league and we are getting our asses kick a lot of times by a team who is under .500. What's with that?

For one thing Francis and Mobley have very little if anything to do with how good our D is. For another Mobley has been in the NBA for 5 years and has even played PG. If he hasn't figured out how to pass yet what makes you think he will?

I'd love to have Dennis Rodman without the off court antics. He was a ferocious rebounder and he could play mind games like no other.
