Blake Gifford, sounds like a newsman's name, you sure you're in the right line of work? Also sounds like a cheesy super hero secret identity.
Naah, let's make him Biff Gifford. Now that's a crime fighter's secret identity name! Biff Gifford, ace reporter for Swirve news.
Fine, just toss me aside as your publicity boy. I can take a hint. And to think I planned the whole Smegma night to get you alone (that's why I didn't sit you next to anyone from cc.net), so I could surpise you with my Bob Dylan wig and harmonica choker...then you passed out. If you really knew me, then you'd know I could never change my moniker from "heypartner." But now, you'll just never know.
We will all still respect you when you tell the truth... shame the devil, and set your soul free, your first name is Giff p.s.- 152 days until the boys make the trip to Houston, are we still on?
Off topic point:HP...I have to say that, based on the SWT pics, you were the only one who looked exactly like I pictured...or maybe that's going too far. I don't think I ever tried to think what people looked like, but as soon as I saw your picture, it just fit perfectly. Did anyone else feel the same? You can take that any way you wish...
We will have to exchange email addresses and coordinate this soon. There were several others who expressed an interest including current students, I will remember who they were and we can get tix soon I suppose.
No way, bro. You're stuck with the job. Remember: next cc.net gathering's at the opening of the show. And I was only pretending to be passed out.
btw: those of us who have been had into the Behad clique, proudly refer to ourselves as Behad's BeenHad b****es.
Batman, I'll try to make it - depends on a few things...I will be getting to Houston around the 8th and will be moving a lot of stuff back into the house, then I will be going to D.C. early June, so those few weeks in May might be a little hectic. But, again, I will definitely try to go on some night and I will drop you an email before I do, as a bit of a warning. I would commit more fully, but I never know what the wife will say.
These are all great ones, but I don't know if I'd have the balls to change my name. I only belong to two message boards (this and RealGM, and I post there about once a month, on the Bulls board), and I'd be mortified if one of my friends came up to me with a "you're SpacemanSpiff69, aren't you?!?!" Might as well use the whole name. Lame, but back in the day when I was writing for money (the glory days, 1999-last October), it was good promo material. That said, my AOL name is KDonhoops, only because it's a shortened version of my email name (just add an "@" between D and the first 'o'). That's sort of a moniker.
