Add two inches to Scola(making him 6'11) and 4 inches to Hayes(making him 6'10) if we didn't have martin I'd add 6 inches to brooks so he can play the two, but alas we have a SG. I'm a little scared of making Yao 8 feet, he'd probably suffer from more injuries, be slower, and have poor circulation. Believe it or not you can be too tall to play basketball.
I'd spread the wealth. Give Scola 2 more inches, give Chuck Hayes 3 more inches and Brooks 1 more inch.
I'd save this wish for next season when LerBon or Wade is on our roster. Then I'd give all 6 inches to whichever makes our roster. To what part of the body exactly...?
So Easy!!! Carl Frigin Landry.... I would take Carl + 6 inches over anybody not named Lebron, Kobe, CP, and a few other... But sadly without those 6 inches he will just be a tier 3 player.
Chuck Hayes + 6 inches + significantly reduced mobility due to bad knee and added bulk ... (not shaq)
obviously you never watches basketball in your life. The only thing stupid Herr is you. 1. Even if u add 8 inches to brooks, kb24 and mj23 will be Better than him by a longshot. 2. Kyle lowry = lebron James? Right.... 3. You noticed that you compared shame battier to the bill Russell? Fail.. 4. Even if u added 6 inches, chuck Hayes most feared in history? Hakeem, dikembe, and Ben Wallace would like to talk to you. 5. Ariza would suck if u add inches to him. I mean I love him, but h doesn't have the best dribbling skill as is. Imagin with 6 more inches. 6. Wilt did. 50 and 25 already. 7. Scola? Best post player? Hakeem, Abdul Jabar, and shaq would like to talk to you. So you fail.
Height isn't allimportant. If anything, give some to Brooks and he'll be able to do better on defense. Honestly I don't think giving more height to Hayes or Scola would help much considering the way they play. It's not like height will help Hayes shoot and it would definitely raise his center of gravity.
I actually think Kobe would be a pretty good comparison to Brooks + six inches of height. Except Brooks shoots the three ball much better and is probably a little softer on defense even with the added height.
Hayes has a relative low center of gravity because of his short height. He is such a good defender largely because he doesn't give ground up to the offensive player on the post. I am not convinced that Chuck would be able to defend in the same manner with 6 additional inches in height. That being said he would be a more efficient shot blocker and rebounder.
I'd go with Aaron Brooks. Chuck Hayes would be appealing because he'd be an unbelievable defender at 7'0", but his offensive game wouldn't be helped too much. He might not get blocked as often, I suppose, but he still wouldn't be any kind of go-to guy. Ariza/Battier would be much better with the additional height. They'd end up being PF/C's and not be where we want them to be: guarding wings. Brooks, however, could stay a PG with the additional 6", but be a big one at 6'5"-ish. He could continue playing his position, score at will, and be more successful driving to the basket (wouldn't need to have all these creative shots just to get it over the defenders). Frankly, he'd be amazing.
I can't be bothered replying to all your drivel, but one rebuttal should be enough. compare Kyle Lowry's per 36 minute stats to Jason Kidd at the same age. then look at <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/j_LLEsy-LEc&hl=en_GB&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/j_LLEsy-LEc&hl=en_GB&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object> Now imagine him being 6 inches taller, which would add about 9 inches minimum to his reach. He is regularly defendering shooting guards several inches taller than him right now and doing a good job, so yea, if he was 6'7 he would be lebron.
