On offense dont treat them special. on defense stand back a little. if you cant win without playing hard defense on a chick then thats just sad. ive played in a coed league before. with chicks that weighed as much as i did (maybe more) and they play rought man. im like looking away and they just shove me. first thing i say is "are you okay". let them try to be all tough. I've never played against a girl that was close to being as good as me. not to say i was great but you know what i mean
Usually I let them take a few open shots and hope they score one or two buckets, at which point i usually get the go ahead to D them up. If it is clear they suck though, I just take it easy on them the whole game. I find that girls who are actually good though love to play physical and don't mind the contact. If they also happen to be attractive, it's hard to not get a boner when she's trying to post you up...
When I used to play on playground courts, the only girls that would show up to play would be very good players. A girl who was bad at basketball wouldn't go to a place like that to play. So, I wouldn't treat them much different. In some other context though, like on a church or school court, I'd probably handle it different. But, I don't think I ever happened to play with girls in those kinds of places. And, now I'm too old anyway.
Okay, here is my story. Some CFers can verify. We're playing ball, and there was this girl that wanted to play too. It was some black chick, but she wanted to play. Of course, being the scrawniest one out there, I had to check her. I was scrawny, but holy hell, I could get up there. Back in those days, I used to be able to grab the rim with my finger tips. Were playing, and I don't want to get too physical cause you don't want to be groping or doing anything silly, rubbing the wrong way on her. So were playing and already a few possessions in. Of course they don't pass me the ball, so I'm basically running up and down the court. I'm on defense, and she receives the ball and shoots it, and I stick my hand up and swat that **** back. I took that bull**** the other way, and of course, being the gentleman that I am, I apologized to her. I said, i'm sorry. sorry, as were running back down the other way. She stops for a second and I asked if I just said sorry for blocking her. She says you don't need to do that! Anyone remember that? OmegaSupreme? ClutchCityReturns? Anyone? Also, there was a chick there. I did not know her name until later. I thought she was nice. She played basketball too. She was also pretty decent. I didn't know if she was white or hispanic or what. But she was pretty. Her name is Rose, and that's all I know. I had to beg CCR for the name. That is all.
Only girls I've played with have been big, butch-ass girls who could probably have raped me if they wanted to. Spoiler Still took it easy.
